It seems like foreigners are much much more romance obsessed than the average Korean who just watches tv since so many non romance dramas get very high ratings . For example the drama my Demon was a huge flop in Korea but a very big hit internationally, its's really all about looks for most fangirls.

Even a low budget teen show would get much higher viewership than this on TVN. I think it's probably the biggest kdrama flop ever since it costed 35 million dollars.

It's actually the highest rated Korean drama on China's biggest rating site but it's still early i guess.

The kissing scene in the drama doesn't even exist in the webtoon. The scene is there but not kissing. So the drama is actually gayer than the webtoon.

I know what will happen though so what meltdown. I Don't care about it being called GL and i have never even watched one. The truth is the director never said anything you said she did, that's the only truth we know so far, the fact you lied about what the director said.

Love in the big city. The actors you usually see on BL and the production teams(writers/directors) are not mainstream and the dramas don't air on major tv channels/streaming services.
