Who's the girl playing as the female med student? Thanks!!
I thought that was a great use of metanarrative in order to connect the two universes. At first, I wasn't sure it was her, but when she talked about what the foetune teller told her, I cracked up, realizing that it was her and that she was talking about Tae Woong. Not only that, they kept her story consistent (fangirl) as they did in Reply 1997.
I'm loving this drama ^.^ even though it's dragging a bit - but the characters are really interesting and you…
I actually think this isn't too far from the truth, but I also think that it might be more that Trash is in love with Binggrae (or it is in my mind right now). It would be interesting, considering that Joon Hee's "guy in car" at the end of Reply was never revealed by face. I have this theory that it's Trash since Trash's college classmate is Tae Woong's wife. It would be an interesting twist and I love the metanarrative already established.
Love this! I did a Ninja Skunk, wearing a skunk hat similar to Enrique's panda hat! However, the party got cancelled because nobody came! *O* That kind of made me mad because I wore the costume in a very hot library all day while trying to tutor my students, lol, though I did get a few laughs. Other great costumes include Yi Gak and the Joseon Power Rangers track suits and animal costumes and Woo Hyun's bunny in KPop: The Ultimate Audition.
Episode 3 was daebak! I really like both of the male characters because I think they both have depth, though I wish Kang San wouldn't have to lie to be with Shin Yeong.
*applauds CheerfulSoul* Thank you for this article! I love Jackie's films as well; my mon and I used to spend hours watching them on our television. It brought me back to those times. :)
I think it's a running gag in the show to use Jo Hee Bong on different roles. LOOOOOOOOOOOL
I think this is hilarious! He's got such good expression in his face! I kind of love how this drama has both humor and the gritty reality. I can't wait for more, as the story has me hooked already.
Woooooow i hate all of the cast ^_^ i really liked replay 1997 but i think iam not gonna like this one :/
If you're going on looks, sure, 1997 had overall better looking guys, but it's only been two episodes, and I think it's rather hasty to make a generalization about the show as a whole from two episodes. To me, the show has been good so far, and I really don't mind the actors at all. I actually think that they are all endearing already. Sometimes it's not the face, but the heart, ya know.
Wait! Is this drama going one-episode-a-week?? Then it'll be taking 20 weeks! That's twice as long as a regular…
It will be twice a week, Friday and Saturday, but there will be 20 episodes. That has been confirmed by the network, so it's definitely not 16 episodes.
I'm loving this so much and it has me completely addicted!

I want to learn Korean as well; I'm thinking of picking it up over the winter for no reason other than I want to and that it's boring when I don't have classes anymore.
I do prefer Korean rom-coms, but I like Japanese ones too. I do prefer rom-coms that are manga adaptations to be Japanese, just because the continuity is kept better, in my opinion.
I love fantasy dramas, especially fantasy saeguks, though admittedly, I love saeguks in general. I, too, don't watch many Japanese fantasy dramas, but I really liked Yokai Ningen Bem a lot.
