I know. I never wore makeup like most 13 year olds do now. I wore some occasionally, and I still rarely do. Kids nowadays look like adults and therefore think they are adults. It's sad that I was just asked if I was a freshman at school the other day because I was dressed down and not wearing makeup. It concerns me that culture is so focused on the exterior everywhere.
I'll pm you the link to the picture. :D

Yes. I love distinct personalities over doll like boys. It's one of the reasons I enjoy bands from the '60s. Most of those guys wouldn't even be artist today because of how they look, but the way they sing cannot be paralleled by many artists today.
I debated which of my new Kame pics I was going to make my new avatar. I have one of him playing with a plastic crocodile that is adorable as well!

I agree. I'm watching To the Beautiful You right now, and all of the guys look nearly the same to me since most of them are new idols. It would be hard for me to pinpoint who is who if I didn't know the original HK characters. What's funny is none of these guys looked like Kpop idols--that's why I laughed so much. I've only just got into k-pop, and that's probably the reason I haven't been into it as much as j-pop. That's a plus to JE boys--most of them are great as individuals and as a collective whole. I can't say the same for many kpop artists.

LOL, Yes! My problem was stress. I eliminated the stress--no more losing hair. Finding a Japanese hairstylist was next on my list, lol. :D I was watching a food truck competition just now, and the Korean guys did p.r. for their truck by saying they were k-pop stars. They won the challenge lol! XD

I completely agree. :D I'd cry if I went bald...I've had scares before, so it's not so far-fetched for me.

:D I sometimes wish it wouldn't grow so fast. I have to get it cut every 6 weeks...but I wouldn't want it to not grow either.
A band who's members have only a single look and a single personality tend to not linger as long in my opinion. That's why boy bands in the US faded after a few years--all the members had one personality, one sound, one way of doing things and for the most part, a single look.
Can't wait for the movie ;) i miss BEM , BELA , BELO !
It's supposed to come out in December! I'm so excited! Kame's going to be a busy boy; he has two movies coming out!!!

My hair can be frustrating too. It doesn't dry fast. When it was long, it would take 4.5 hours to dry it. It still takes almost 45 minutes, and my hair is really short right now. XD I like that they are different too! Some bands lack personality because their members look all the same. I like that there are different personality types in KATTUN. It makes for a lot of fun.
This has so many pluses going for it so far. 1 plus for boy dressing as girl, 1 plus for being a breakthrough for a network and 1 plus for being a short drama.
Yo people stop writing reviews after watching only 2 episodes, it's ridiculous!
Totally agree with you here. There are episode reviews--there's even a forum about episode reviews and how to do them. Aigoo.

It's really too expensive for me; that's one of the reasons why I am applying for the program. I love teaching English and other foreign languages, and the program pays for the trip there and back. I do have to pay for rent and stuff, though. I'm 25 and ready to get out on my own for a bit.

LOL. I want to eat the second I go to Japan and if I can find someone who can deal with thick hair, I'll get my hair done as well! I agree, Eun Gyeol in HK reminds me of Hong Ki. I like Ueda too; he's so cute...his confessions on CTKT crack me up.

Have you checked for a Region 2 (I think that's your region) cd. Those should play. You may also look into getting a multiregion cd or dvd player. I'm looking into getting one because I'm planning on moving to Japan next year (for a while) and need a way to watch the new dvds I will buy when I'm there.

I agree with you. I like Japanese guys best, and it seems like their hairstyles have a bit more variety. K-pop groups have been going to a rather similar style of hair as of late, imo. Of course, Kame is my favorite and I definitely think Yamapi is gorgeous. I actually have a huge thing for Nakamaru from KATTUN. Everyone dislikes him because of his nose, and I think he's just endearing and could care less. I also like Miura Haruma. My favorite Koreans (other than LMH and JGS) are Ji Hyun Woo, Lee Hong Ki, and Micky Yoochun and his little bro Park YooHwan (but strictly because he's adorkable).
