Yeah...but I think it's an extension of how Kame feels about family that allows him to be so warm. He has expressed that he loves family. It might be weird though, because he's played either goofy characters or characters with lots of family issues and melo in previous roles. Even though he's serious here, I think it comes from a different place. <3

I know! There are some cute promo pics of Bero and Bem together...so cute. Kame and Fuku have a very father-son relationship on the set too. On Fuku's birthday, Kame took him to Starbucks to get a Strawberry Soy Frapp to share between them.

If this drama has no Kayashima, I'm going to be depressed. The relationship between Kayashima and Nakatsu is one of my favs, and since k-dramas like to play up bromances, it's a perfect opportunity. It's already bad enough that Umeda-sensei probably isn't going to be gay, and that Sano's childhood friend is probably going to be more than a first couple episodes cameo and instead an evil b**** character (which she may be a bit of in the manga initially, but she's not really like that).

I love Kim Soo Hyun too! :D He's just not on the top 5 because I have personal favorites there first, lol.

It's soon, but I don't have an exact date. Oh, CTKT is great! I haven't come close to finishing it because subbed eps are hard to find, and even raw ones are difficult. The episodes I've seen though are funny. One of my favorite segments of season 1 is the "smile competition"...so hilarious.

Yeah, the movie is supposed to have the same cast and come out this December. That means he has 2 movies and a new variety show coming out soon!

If anything, you can thank the production staff for him being shirtless after every transformation and that the pants are incredibly low-cut. Plus, I can't wait for the movie version!!

I'm not sure if I have anything. I haven't watched anything Japanese (excluding currently) in 8 months since Yokai Ningen Bem (with Kame) finished airing. If you can get past the special effects, the story is very moving and beautiful. Some of it can be funny, but most of it goes deeper than an non-human in a human world tends to.

It never kills to start anything, well, um...maybe some things. I understand your feeling. Even though I enjoyed IDN, it did, at times, feel kind of like a comedic parody rather than an actual drama. :D

Hey guys! It looks as if the subber for Beginners! has dropped the project, so I hope someone will pick it up soon. My Japanese isn't good enough to sub episodes.

I'm with you about having a million things I want to start, but I'm probably going to stick with what I've got. I actually liked IDN, but I'm a big fan of Tamamori Yuta, so that helped. I'm skeptic about the Korean Hana Kimi as well because it looks as if they are going to play up Sano's childhood friend as some sort of horrible, evil girl and leave Kayashima out completely. I still want to watch it, but if the first few episodes give me a bad taste, I might wait or drop it. I don't want another Big on my hands, which started off well but turned into 16 hours of disappointment.

The Olympics end tomorrow, so I don't think they'll have to do too much arranging after then. :D Arang and Faith are my two big watches for the next season. I'm also going to watch the Korean Hana Kimi--To the Beautiful You, but my hopes for it being a good adaptation are still up in the air.

It hasn't completely aired yet. It's supposed to have 10 eps, so give it about a month and it should be complete.

Rich Man, Poor Woman is fantastic! I think it may be my favorite Oguri Shun drama, which is hard, because I've loved just about everything he is in. I love the chemistry between the leads and both the serious and humorous side of the show.
