It's actually an analysis of their films, and it's a semester long. I would love to take a song class strictly on the Beatles, since I've already taken a History of Rock and Roll class which contained discussion and analysis.

Thanks. It's going to be a pretty interesting year. I've got Spanish Conversation, Literary Theory, Asian Philosophy, and Literary Analysis: The Beatles this fall. I'm excited already.
I like any style, but I don't have a specific favorite. I'd love to learn to do Gothic, because I think it looks cool.
When I learned that tidbit, my mind was blown too. Now, every time I'll go the Renaissance Festival, I'm going to laugh when I see it.

I graduate in May with my Bachelor's. Finally...:D
My English teacher is the reason that I'm going to become a professor. I love calligraphy or any artistic writing.
The oft used "Ye" in things like "Ye Olde Shoppe" is incorrect. When philogists originally studied Middle English, they mistranslated a phonetic symbol that looks like an uppercase P as the y sound. This later was found to be the phonetic symbol for the th sound in the, which is now indicated by lowercase Greek theta. So the word "ye" never meant "the," as the word was always "the".

I haven't read the Pendragon series, unfortunately. I want to though. As an English major, once school starts, I'm reading ferociously for class.
That sounds like a fun high school tradition. My English teacher had us dress up like the characters with toilet paper and give a character description to the class. Then we had to complete a project of making a book with all of our character descriptions in it. I did my book in calligraphy, which took forever.
I just took a class on the History of the English Language. That class was everything I've ever wanted in a class.

The American and British versions are different in some of the vocabulary used. The British versions use the British names for various things like clothing or swears.
The Wife of Bath is a personal favorite of mine. I wrote an essay for an English Literature class on that one. I also like the Pardoner's Tale very much. I used to be able to recite the Prologue in Middle English. :D
I used to be against the "little kid" books, but when I discovered HP, that all changed. I found a world that I enjoyed, regardless of the age group.
Yeah, he wrote Percy Jackson as well. I'm a huge RR fan. I also love Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter (I own the American and British versions, and book 7 in Spanish, lol) plus all the extra books. I read a lot of medieval literature like The Decameron and Canterbury Tales. My mom just bought me Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and Game of Thrones book 1, but I probably won't get to them right away. I still have book 6 and 7 of Artemis Fowl and book 5 and 6 of the Secrets of the Immortal Nicolas Flamel to get through first.
Thank you for your well wishes!

:D No, I haven't been to Japan before, but I speak some Japanese and I tutor it, so I want to go there as well.
I've been reading Rick Riordan's Kane Chronicles series recently. I really enjoy it, and I'm currently on the the last book. I actually haven't read Water for Elephants, mostly because I really like fantasy and historical fiction. I also read books on particular historical periods. My favorite period is the time of The Black Death, so I read a lot about that.
My favorite Kamenashi drama is probably One Pound Gospel, although he's great in Nobuta wo Produce, Gokusen II,Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge, and Yokai Ningen Bem as well.
I'm really enjoying this show! Episode 2 was very good.

Kame is the reason that I continued watching dramas and became passionate about Japan. I'm thinking of moving there next year to teach. Who did you disagree with? I like to know everyone's tastes.
I can't wait for this one. It seems like it's going to be great. Now comes the problem of handling To The Beautiful You, Faith, and this drama at once!

I didn't expect much from Votto, to be honest. He was still nursing that sore knee. I'm just glad the NL won. :D
