I'm still iffy about this drama, but I'm enjoying it. I hate Soon Shim; honestly, the girl who plays the bandmate…
I will agree to disagree. I was just stating my opinion. I don't think the characters on this show are really fantastic. I enjoy the show, but tvN has had much better dramas, imo, and I personally think that QIHM is one of those dramas. I don't come back from watching this show with any positive or negative feelings like I have from QIHM or FBRS. In fact, I come back rather indifferent, which is sad, because I don't mind the plot. I think the acting is rather static.
I'm hoping that this gets a special because the show ended so abruptly without resolution of the romance. I really could care less who she ends up with (I like both Eisuke and Taku), but I want some closure there.
This represents majority of my reasons for watching asian dramas! "wisdom in jokes" kinda stuff and…
Me too. Yoshino should have been with Tamaki in the end. They had much better chemistry together, imo.

I'm kind of in the middle there. I like the actress in the Japanese one better, but she didn't act as innocent, so I'll give KHS that point. I'm just glad that I didn't junk the drama altogether. Although, I really had a crush on Zong Shi.

I actually haven't read the manga. I loved Jiro in it. I didn't mind KHS' aura of innocence, but her facial expressions didn't impress me that much.

I agree. I felt that it was suiting to the drama. Though I like the Japanese version, I felt that it's great injustice lay in the happy ending. I'm a sucker for happy endings, but I didn't feel then that it matched the tone at all. This drama did much better, though I think the Japanese is still stronger. The last four episodes of this drama truly made me keep watching it. I'd almost given up on it, tbh.
