I dont understand why this is not popular, it has such a nice story line, the main couple is just adorable. So…
Though, the network it's airing on should be gaining in popularity after Flower Boy Ramyun Shop and Shut Up: Flower Boy Band. Also, this drama's not on Viki, so that's another reason why it's not getting subbed quickly, which I also think is sad. I love this drama.

I do like dramas with some similarity to anime or manga, but I'm okay if they digress from it too. Artistic license in my opinion is every screenwriter's given right. About CH, psychology is the most important thing. I once took an acting class where we focused on finding objectives; CH's characters all have clear objectives, even if the story doesn't reveal them to us. That's why I like it so much. LMH, for me, was the best he's ever been in CH. He's the reason I started the series, and though I love him so much, he is not the reason I love the series as a whole. It's all the politics and subterfuge that gets me going there. His acting only makes that more special. :D
Awww...thanks. You can be. Every new friend is a neighbor! Thanks for accepting me! :D

It depends on the drama. If it's a rom-com, typically the chemistry between the two leads and how the show will proceed with the complications. If a show has suspense, I focus on the mystery factor the most. For example, in CH, I focused so much on who the 5 conspirators were; despite other things I liked about that show, the intrigue attracted me the most. I also look for verisimilitude in acting--can the actor prove to me that they are who they are portraying, even if they are the complete opposite in real life. The same goes for the show, particularly in situations where the show is fantasy-based. Can the show make me believe its situations regardless of its loose reality? Wow, that's a really long explanation, lol. What do you look for in a drama?

:) I'd do it for no pay as well. I have way too much fun doing research and literary analysis anyways. One of my favorite papers was on Harry Potter and Joseph Campbell's theory of mythical heroes. Surprisingly, this theory would fit for some dramas.

I would love to watch dramas for money, then write papers based on them. :p I use dramas and drama actors as examples all the time though when I'm tutoring. My friend and I have several inside jokes because of this. lol.

I'm good. It's been a long two days. I've been out trolling baseball games, lol. My name is a combination of the two nicknames that Yamaguchi Kumiko from Gokusen has ever had in her life; Yankumi from her students and Kumicho as a child. I'm a seriously big fan of her and can only hope to be as cool a teacher as she is in the future. How are you?
I was really interested in working my way through this, but without subs, it's very difficult to keep my attention on the action. I want to finish this drama, but I'm not so sure if it will be done in a quick way.

I'll probably watch King 2 Hearts later this summer. Queen In Hyun's Man is interesting, because the time-traveler is super smart and can shift back-and-forth through time. I'm the same way with dramas. Even if I have a million things to do, I still have to watch drama. :D

Hey! Genki desu. Ogenki desu ka? Right now, I'm still watching Rooftop Prince, but I just started another time-travel sageuk that has suspense, Queen In Hyun's Man. It's really good, and although both of these are rom-coms, they approach everything differently.

I agree. I like Micky more, but YooHwan has cuter dimples. :D I had the panda pic from Rooftop up before, so I had to spread the love, lol.

You're welcome. My avi is from KPop: The Ultimate Audition. The guy here is Micky Yoochun's lil bro, Park Yoohwan. He dressed as a bunny to follow a character in one of the episodes. He's super cute too!
