That's fine if you need to sleep. I completely understand; normally, I would be sleeping now, but I am on a short break from school until Tuesday. No, I don't really have experience as a teacher yet. I'm mostly going straight in to teaching via my English degree, so I haven't had to take education courses. I am trying to consider all of my options right now; since my university has a master's program, I am going to most likely go there til I receive my Masters. Then, I will have to move on elsewhere, and I'm not sure whether I'm going to move from where I'm at now or not. I hope you get that scholarship; it sounds like a wonderful opportunity and if you are anything like me, I wouldn't like if I couldn't grasp a hold of it. :)Oyasumi nasai. If I don't get back to you right away, it's probably because of homework (because I've been dawdling...:/).

Still, working for the Korean embassy will be so cool! I don't speak any Korean (except for the few phrases that people pick up in drama), and I wasn't into k-dramas until last year. City Hunter played a huge role in changing my mind.
I always wanted to be an actress of some sort, but because I sang well, I had to choose which of the fine arts to pursue in school since I was on a college-prep track. I do enjoy dramas the most; for me, manga just passes the time, which is nice during the long summer vacations that I don't particularly enjoy at times. I have an insane work ethic, and vacations are nice, but I prefer studying. I know, it's weird.

Miura Haruma wa sugoi ne. Yamapi mo! YamaNade wa chotto okashii, demo watashi ga suki desu. Kami no Shizuku o mimasen. 1 pound no fukuin wa omoshiroi desu. Nobuta wo Produce mo tanoshikatta desu. It's cool that we started watching in the same year. Hana Kimi was my first drama, btw, but like you, Gokusen holds a pretty close place in my heart. If I ever teach English in Japan, I would like to have the fortitude that Yankumi has. I think that if you like Gokusen, you'd like the manga, but I can understand why people don't read them. I just like the ending better, that's all. Demo, manga ni, Odagiri ga imasen. :/ Odagiri=win!

Now, the language is a part of me. I actually followed what you were saying quite well.

Arigato! My favorite dorama is City Hunter, but before I watched that, I was very partial to Gokusen as my favorite. I typically watch rom-com's (YAB, Rooftop Prince, Hana Kimi, etc.) but I have been known to pick up something random if it sounds interesting. Watashi wa ni-ju-go sai desu. How old are you? I also am a bit shy talking in Japanese, but I can try. Nihon-go o benkyo suru o doshite desu ka? What do you want to do with your degree, as it sounds interesting (and something I would enjoy doing if it was offered)?
after the 6th episode you've got to admit that this is not like you're beautiful cuz it have it's own unique idea…
I agree that this is not YAB by any means, except for the pop group thing. Actually, it reminds me a bit of Coffee Prince. I'm loving WooHyun. His dimples are to die for.
Just finished watching the final ep. (except for subs), but I hope that they will do a second season. As good as this drama was, it still feels incomplete without hashing up the complexity of Shang's feelings for Gong Xi and the relationship between Gong Xi and Lian.
I feel that I might have to wait and see the reviews before watching this one. Messing with the plot of Nodame too much may turn it into a drama that is completely unrelated and only associated by thin threads. I love Nodame too much to allow it to be ruined for me. That being said, the plot twist does sound interesting.
I originally didn't think this drama would be for me. However, I recognized actors that I had seen in other dramas (Yamamoto Yusuke, Seto Koji, and Daito Shunsuke), so I decided to watch it. I am SO glad that I did! It gives so many wonderful lessons about friendship, teamwork, and finding yourself. I cried a ton during it, but for all the right reasons. :D
i put up with the boring stuff in ep 1 because i'm not new to dramas. ik that it could possibly take a while to…
When I got my dvd, my friend wanted to skip to ep. 2, but I told her she had to watch it. I was happy to hear that she watched it and liked ep. 1. Now I have her addicted to this drama.
