These polls are so biased to SH that they ignored the brilliance of Reply 1988, SFD, Signal, and Jealousy Incarnate. How anyone could think SH was better than Signal or SFD is beyond me. LJK was great, but the show was a mess.
Why are people saying the title is misleading? Romance is not just about a man and a woman's love. It's…
Because they've clearly not been exposed to the Romantics nor the Transcendentalists, nor the work of Rousseau. They think romance means one thing, love.
I love how he just held her in the end and let her cry. You could feel her heart everywhere, and you could see his heart break at her sadness. Her hurt looked like it was physically aching him, but not in a annoying way, but a painful way. He can't bear to see her sad. Dear boys, take note. Real manifestation of love right here.
If I were Bok Joo, here's how the beginning of Episode 8 goes...
Siho: *rips phone out of Bok Joo's hand*
Bok Joo: Excuse you, bitch. Un-uhh.
Bok Joo: *beats Buffy down* Take your skinny little aerobicized booty out of the room 'cause you're not about to be sleeping here tonight.
This cast...my god, she must have done something good in her past life to get this role. I vote for her having all the guys in the end. It's what I'd do.
I really love Joon, okay? I want to hold and protect the my tall marshmallow Kwang Soo. He's one of my favorite characters here, and he really tries so hard. He gets shit on by everybody, and especially his friends, and sometimes it hurts me a bit. (Especially because he often gets shit on irl too).
In 2003, a 16 year old me had to sit for a few weeks, worried if I had skin cancer.
In 2010-2011, my 22 year old sister had to watch the lump in her chest get larger.
Both of us were lucky. Neither of us had cancer. Neither of us had to face the stigma that is often unfairly given to those with cancer. Just recently, a young girl with cancer committed suicide because her classmates bullied her over it. A former classmate of mine is dying of stage 4 cancer, and the BMV had the audacity to try and nearly deny her a placard for her car because she "didn't look sick."
What Hwa Shin said rings true. The stigma must end, both in relationships and in the public sphere. I broke down at that moment.
Bok Joo: I'll play the piano at your wedding.
Joon Hyung: You're going to ruin my wedding. Just stay by my side."
Smooth as f***. My god, I would've kissed him right there.
Jealousy. *I'm gone. I love Jo Jung Seok.
