Honestly, if people liked Study Group, they’ll probably like Good Boy too. Not every show needs to be dark and tragic to be worth watching. I’m perfectly fine with a group of good people standing up to bad ones and actually getting a satisfying, non-depressing ending. People act like everything needs to be gritty or heartbreaking to be good. Study Group wasn’t super heavy either, and it still earned high scores. Good Boy gives off the same vibe—so why the pushback?
I knew people would be quite critical about this drama, and I could sense it. Nonetheless, I'm really glad things didn't become too dark. I genuinely believe that Park Bogum and Kim Sohyun have great chemistry—just watch their interactions during interviews, especially the one with Hyeri. I honestly thought Bogum had a crush on Sohyun; I really did.
Additionally, I had to buy a copy of "Sky, Wind, and Stars," which Dong-ju liked to carry around. I particularly enjoyed when he quoted the "Prologue."
"Sky, Wind, and Stars" is a beautiful read, filled with themes of hope, redemption, nostalgia, and conviction. I truly enjoyed it. Like my favorite, "Lawless Lawyer," I'm sure some people probably didn't appreciate the tone, thought there was a "lack of chemistry," or felt it wasn't dark enough. Please don't let the reviews or harsh critiques deter you from watching. Seriously. “Good Boy” is better than good, its GREAT!
I got mixed up because she has a big following in Indonesia and had mentioned wanting to promote music for Southeast Asian artists. The languages, especially in terms of Bahasa, can sound somewhat similar—even though they’re actually quite different. Anyway, you’re right—there were a few reasons I got confused.

My favorite Hong Kong actress, always! By the way, new pic is lovely 😊
