I always think that if Faye Valentine from the anime Cowboy Bebop looked like anyone in real life, it was a younger her(Michele Reis). But Faye has green eyes. That’s the only difference.
Watching this drama right now. I’m really enjoying it. But as a STEM major, I haven’t realized how far technology has come until I sat down watched this drama. 2010 was just yesterday. Anywho, I have to take a break from this drama because I have to study! 😭 Will resume soon!
Edit: Almost winter break. I will finish this drama. Get back to me after the 16th of December.
Started following him (as NICKTHEREAL) after seeing him in a music video (regionals cyphers) rapping with Karencici, Julia Wu, and Kumachan. He’s handsome, and I’m glad he has quite the repertoire. New fan ❤️
I truly enjoyed this movie. The ending was really sweet. I felt the plot twist coming, but at one point in the film I was certain that it wasn’t going to happen. It was truly a pleasant surprise. The movie kept me guessing, and the ending was everything.
I recommend this movie to those who experience college/high school nostalgia, but now have to adult and simply reminisce on the halcyon days.
A truly splendid and romantic film. Happy ending.
I’m so sad the lead actress isn’t with us today. RIP Jang Jin Young.
I can understand why this movie has a polarized but friendly reception. The movie is either an unorthodox rom-com or a typical slacker movie with elements of real life and romance.
But I honestly enjoyed it because I think it’s actually about being an adult but still having a hard time making choices when you’re supposed to have “grown up” and gotten used to that 9-to-5.
Even though most of the cast were late twenties and older, I believe all their characters acted like any flawed person in their youth who hasn’t truly grasped what true love is. I haven’t had my first kiss yet, but I can understand why the FL was so conflicted and moody at times. She hadn’t experienced what it’s like to be attracted to someone who genuinely “gets” her, and wants to hangout with her. I saw this in the scene when she’s interviewing the actress and the ML backs her up when the actress that she’s interviewing questions her competency in doing her job.
Even the side characters had a hard time with finding out what true love is. The boss, the coworkers, etc…
Because of this movie and how well-done the trailer was, I’m hoping they do a Beyond/Wong Ka Kui biopic. They’d show Wong Ka Kui’s signature/iconic outfit with the red jacket. The live version of “Boundless Oceans, Vast Skies” would play in the background. I’m too much of an idealist.
Anywho, I’m going to give this movie a watch when I have the chance. Anita Mui is an icon.
Good actress.
