It was the prosecutor he was chasing. In the car chase, there were a total of three cars. One is Min Tae, one is the other Prosecutor and the last is the criminals. They get into an accident. Before the other prosecutor dies, he bites Min Tae turning him.

8 years and still waiting for VP3. VD was horrible and unnecessary. They only good thing about it was a hint they mention about Min Tae in an episode that made me believe we were getting VP3 and still nothing. PLEASE GIVE US SEASON 3!!!!

The sister was turned before she died because the other lawyer is a more advanced (at least that was the impression I got) vampire than Min Tae and his blood went into her mouth. How she escaped and such I can't recall.

Same. I keep checking for any news but nothing. I mean at the end of season 2 he says I'll be back (not quite those words but it implied we would have another season) I didn't care for Vampire Detective. They did mention Min Tae's name in an episode indicating that he is missing. It was the friend who would get him blood.
