It’s good a missed it because now I’ve some new older shows to watch, the latest shows is not as good as the late 2010s or early 2020s to be honest. I watched The King Eternal Monarch for the first time not long ago and I thought they don’t make shows like this anymore

Thanks for the recommendation, I think I’ll go with Doctor Slump because The judge from hell is not available on my disney plus, middle east region. It’s sad actually, a lot of these hulu/disney exclusives are not available..

Only the first episode was interesting for me, I found myself skipping every scene while she was on the virtual world after the first episode. So if you found yourself doing that, just skip the whole thing, it’s not worth it.

I watched this only because I was interested to see Jisoo, but it was disappointing. It was the first drama I watch with her. Is there a better drama that have her?

Very enjoyable! I didn’t see the FL in any show I watched before( ai thought I watched many kdramas) anyway, I thought she was very good and portrayed the role beautifully. I think the writer/s did good job specially the first half. I like the little teaser at the end. I hope they take their time to write a well developed newseason if they are going to do another one.
What other shows of the FL would you recommend to watch?

I always check the score and commenta before watching. Idk why I didn’t with this one 🥲
The one thing that eased it for me to watch until the end is that I was binge-watching Parks & Recreation for the first time while this drama was still airing 😂

This drama was just bad.. I normally skip saying anything negative but I had to with this one.. don’t waste your time and watch something else.

should have been like 6 or 8 episodes max! the revelation at the end was great but man it’s still very slow paced, or at least the episodes could have been 30 mins. on another note I think the fl did great job because I really hated her character 😂

Even though I started watching kdramas around 2020 when corona hit I never got to watch this one because I heard mixed opinions. Anyway, I watched the two shows of the FL that she did last year and both were great so I thought I would give it a shot. Turned out to be a great one also.. except for last two episodes. One thing in particular for me is that it gave me the same feeling when I started watching kdramas ( specifically with regards to the misic too) which sadly is very rare these last couple of years.

Yess, I really had high hopes! the last overall nice feeling show I watched was resident playbook and it starred the same actress. Ok maybe last show was bon appetite, but I mean modern era :D

I actually haven’t watched the shows you mentioned. maybe it’s time I watch Hotel Del Luna. I tried watching the other IU shows after I watched my mister -it’s a masterpiece- but always skipped this one.

Considering the talnted cast and writers, same writers of alchemy of souls, I have to say that I’m disappointed :(

I think it’s the first time that I see tow ads back to back it was so weird kobiko and the Japanese restaurant. Do ads like these pay this much to be shoved like this in the series? It’s a nice show but man, the ads was such a turn off!

*doesn’t really hit as hearing them. That being said the music it self is really good and the performance of the actors on playing the instruments -specially the drummer- kept me going until the end. It reminded me a bit of La La Land where the actors learned to really perform and thus making it one of my favorite movies.

It was really nice having an English song between all the other songs since I can’t really understand Japanese and having the lyrics translated isn’t really hitting as

my thoughts exactly.. comments are making me hyped even though I already watched the korean version.. I didn’t like the pacing. Hopefully the J version is better, there isn’t that much jdramas out there.. I’m woth you though, I’ll wait until it’s finished 😅
