I share the same sentiments as live or die together. But I think the reason I liked TSL ending was because I took it as a happy ending... They will be together in the future. The flowers also recognise their lovers which means they will retain the memories...For me, it was 100% a happy ending.

Tbh the ending of TSL didn't bother me in the least. Angst in the form of external circumstances separating the leads is much welcomed and understood but when the leads choose to hurt each other for whatever reason, it bothers tf out of me.

Yeah i didn't mean that SY is similar to TY. I meant the action is similar. Justifying hurting someone to save someone else.
