As for the 2nd point, u mentioned its "some" and that's what seperates BL from queer media. I personally wouldn't classify ITSAY as BL since it did indeed have heavy topics. But thats thailand not korea, though thailand does an amazing job at blurring out the distinction.
The best korean queer media creator is Matchbox and strongberry. And they only got famous due to creating "chocomilkshake " which was a BL. KBL don't focus on coming out, people being chased out of their homes, social marginalisation, diseases, sex, bullying, religion, family.
Its slow but it will take time. I'm glad for the progress korea has shown. Especially with dating shows like "Hisman" Maybe people will be able to slowly accept and support queer drama too just like BL.
