Yep it was definitely impossible, she messed up right there. Just a little disappointed with the way her character was killed.

Kinda disappointed with the way the Queen died like... dang she poisons her dad and it makes us go like woah this bitch means business AND THEN she just sits in the throne and gets attacked by the zombies like hmm??? REALLY??? She didn’t even try anymore she just gave up right there.

is that the case??? that’s really nice to hear! i’ve been comparing its reception to like for eg the untamed, and definitely it felt - on weibo etc - l&d wasn’t hyped enough so i naturally assumed that not many are watching it. glad i know now ~

when this show was first announced, i was extremely hesitant, probably because during then love and destiny was constantly being publicized as a 'sister drama' to tmopb - which kinda threw me off bc it made l&d sound like a hasty rip off of tmopb. to me, personally, it just seemed like l&d was filmed only to gain back the hype that was given for tmopb (which honestly is probably the case but its not rlly working sadly). however, puttting all these aside, i want to tell everyone: please do not compare these two dramas together. l&d and tmopb are two separate shows with no connection at all (other than the setting of some places). both shows have their own good and bad points, but i'll like to commend on l&d for its lovable characters (and some hateful ones), beautiful setting and shots, engaging plot, and most importantly, fantastic leads. chang chen and nini - there is so much i want to praise but i am afraid words are simply not enough. i'm gonna leave the remaining 830818012938 things i wanna say for when i actually write a review on this show hehe. to those who are hesitant on starting: don't be. watch it. because what are you waiting for? this show will bring you on a beautiful journey

i dont know much about the past, just got my knowledge of what happened in history through the comment section in this show hehe. as she becomes the empress dowager, she'll be with the prince/king. whether she will have feelings for him is another thing as ppl are saying that historically, haolan had 3 lovers. btw i havent started on this show yet so i cant provide spoilers!! im waiting for it to finish airing and see what happens then i'll consider watching :)

kinda biased having watched yanxi palace bc i would like to see wu jinyan's character end up with nie yuan's in this show LOL. i was looking at the weibo posts for this drama and there seems to be lots of chemistry between the two of them? do u guys think they're gonna end up together or do u think they're gonna strictly follow what happened in the past? i'll like to hear ur opinions!! :))) (ps. omg there r so many familiar faces from yanxi im cryingg)
