I love this. I rarely watch dramas set in highschool these days because, yah know, old age pfft, but I just tried this out of curiousity. I wondered how the story would be since many compared the synopsis to the drama W. But surprisingly, I love it so much. It's full of cliche plots but, ironically, all of it is acceptable since the heroine is actually inside a manhwa. I actually find that refreshing instead. And Kim Hye Yoon plays her character so well. It's over-the-top, but not cringy. She's actually really funny. I'm so excited for next week's episode ^^,

I get you, just like I said, personal preference. And maybe I'll be invested in this drama soon enough to eat my words. But I also know that I like JCW and WJA enough to help me power through this. I ain't trying to speak too soon for this drama, just stating my opinions for the pilot episodes, that's all.

Oh she's in charge of this drama? That explains my indifference for the gags on this one. I honestly dove into this without knowing who the screenwriter was, and unfortunately, her comedy on her previous dramas was not my cup of tea. I don't hate her, it's just a personal preference.

But setting that aside since I really came for this drama for Ji Chang-Wook and Won Jin-Ah doing comedy, I still couldn't help but feel that something was missing. I ain't giving up on this anytime soon though XD

I waited for this show diligently, but now I'm a bit disappointed. Why are they trying so hard to be funny? The editing made the gags so awkwardly forced. I mean, I think it's alright (the plot made me damn curious) but the BGM and sound effects cheapened the story they sold to me through the teasers. But I'm still giving this a chance. I just hope the crew will gather feedbacks of the pilot episode from its audience, because from what I gathered, I'm not the only one with these complains.

More than being not tough, I get the vibes as if Dong-baek was just a bomb waiting to detonate if the time was right ????. Her patience was just painfully long, so she was able to withstand her neighbors. But if you accidentally press the wrong buttons, she'll go off like a rocket. It's kinda scary tbh that GHJ plays it so well that more than sympathy, I'm just excited for her to explode ????????.

I feel like the one who died wearing the germanium bracelet was Hyang-Mi, contrary to what the show was making us assume that it was Dong-Baek. She was described as a klepto so she took Dong-Baek's bracelet and wore it. Also, maybe Hyang-Mi and Yong-Shik became friends since she and Dong-baek were also close, hence his reaction when he saw the body lying in the gurney.

Tragedy dramas are not really my style but JI SOO. JI SOOOOO. And that's it. You played it well, Dramaland. You placed my son's name on that cast so of course, I'll watch it. I have to.
