Title War of Faith
WRL may be young and new to playing the politics game which makes him act cautious, still toeing the line when it comes to his superiors and big fishes in the game. But this in itself tells a lot about his character: he knows about self-preservation. He's very capable and smart. He observes and watches from the sidelines, carefully chooses the right time to weigh in or do something. I've only watched 4 eps and it's already clear to me he's willing to go to great lengths to get what he wants (SPOILER: when he first got rejected from the bank and right after he concocted a plan to find out what kind of man STN is, sneaked into his party uninvited and used the knowledge he pieced together to get himself a job). This makes him a very interesting character to me, and I'm excited to find out what further lines he'll cross to survive in the game.

SJZ is quite the opposite, she's a spy who's good at her job, but she's also impulsive and quick to get affected with her emotions. You get the impression that if she's given the choice to save only herself vs a comrade, she'll preserve someone else's life instead. This creates a good contrast with WRL which i like. And not to say WRL won't prioritize another person over himself. But he's likely to be more rational about it (probably considering a lot of factors, whether he has enough knowledge of a situation to save himself too, if it's favorable towards a larger goal, etc.)

also the premise of the film is that protagonist is a newbie in the crew/street dance scene and is understudy…
"it's the trailers that help us judge whether it suits our tastes. when it comes to my money and my time it's up to me to decide"

Where did I say otherwise? Read my reply again I literally said that a small clip or trailer could help you judge whether you want to invest time to watch the whole thing. But I'm also just pointing out that you cannot pass that off as well-grounded judgement of the quality of the film (end result) itself when you have seen maybe like 0.5% of it. Which is just as valid.

You made comments about how the actor is amateur dancer when I have disproven that with fact and suggested you to check out the directors other work to at least have more a grasp about his abilities in film-making. That would help you to at least have a solid basis or strengthen your argument about what you think this film is gonna be like, with these relevant things into account.

In my initial replies I was giving the benefit of doubt that you are actually a casual watcher who saw this one clip but looking at your mdl list it's obvious you're a xz fan, that bad faith criticism must have been really notched up high huh? I have no more interest to continue with this conversation when it's clear to me you have extreme biases here
