To each his own. I love Mi Rae, I've liked her from the start.

I am enjoying both Hyun Jae - Mi Rae and Yoon Jae - Hae Jun.

I loved all Hyun Jae-Mirae scenes from the latest episode but my favorites are (1) when they met unintentionally at Hae Jun’s office and you can see their awareness of each other and (2) when HJ ran after MR in the parking lot just to see her off, so sweet!

I love, love, love Hyun Jae and Mi Rae! They are the perfect match, they complement each other. Their love is organic. They were off to a rocky start but they have found their footing. I like how they straight up say, ask and answer each other about their feelings. They are getting to know each other better and taking small steps to make the other a part of their respective families. I could happily watch Hyun Jae and Mi Rae just being sweet the rest of the drama :) But since this is a drama, there will be angst and conflict. For now, the law drama writer is still around and if the writers are bringing back the jealousy arc (hope not though!), I hope people give Mi Rae a break and not castigate her if she gets jealous because realistically speaking, insecurities and jealousy do happen in real life, in actual relationships. It can happen to just about anyone.

This! Exactly what I wanted to say in defense of MiRae, thank you!

I love MiRae’s character because she’s cheerful, sweet and really, really kind. She loves her family and I particularly like how close she is to her mom. She’s unassuming, hardworking, positive and a good listener to her clients. But this being a drama, they had to “shake things up” and give MiRae this jealousy arc. It’s understandable though that MiRae is vulnerable and feeling insecure, all things considered and after everything that has happened.

I agree that this drama has a long way to go and we can expect positive development for MiRae and HyunJae. I love them individually and together. Looking forward to their scenes.

The 8.6 Douban rating is well-deserved! Comments about the drama are all positive so they would be missing out on a great show if some opt to not even give the drama a try just because they don't want any romance. If they watch, I'm pretty sure they will like our 2 couples and realize that Leo and Neo's bond is still the main focus of the show, even if there's romance.

People need to watch this drama. It’s a lot of things - bromance (brotherhood), romance, work, IT, business, friendship - all balanced seamlessly, with an intelligent script and very impressive production value. Many probably thought it’s a serious drama but it’s an easy watch actually, even funny at times. I am enjoying both the bromance & the romance. The 2 female leads are lovely & acting really well. Their presence does not take away from the bromance. Leo & Neo are doing an excellent job in making us root for their characters and their brotherhood is precious. This drama is a cut above other dramas, I hope it gets the high ratings it deserves.

I love this drama! Unlike other dramas, here, the leads are high in both IQ and EQ! They are both smart, very likeable, grounded, responsible and hardworking. The editorial on this drama here on MDL perfectly describes the healthy relationship of the leads. Their love for each other was so sweet, pure and unshakeable :)
Major props to whoever casted Wang An Yu and Xiang Han Zhi. They are both still so young and practically newbies but they did justice to their roles. Their acting was solid, nuanced and not exaggerated. And they look so good together. Their chemistry was the sweetest and most natural! At times, it felt like I was not even watching a drama, it was like they were just their real selves being sweet and all, everything felt real :)
I love how their friends from high school and college bonded and became one fun, loyal and supportive group. Styling was good. I loved the leads’ clothes & FL’s hairstyles. Simple story but beautifully told, all in all, a must-watch!

Seeing as the mom was also at the airport to make sure Lin Xi gets on the flight, I assume it was the mom who booked the flight so Lin Xi had no choice but to leave at that moment. Regarding the bug, in the kdrama "Start-Up", they also had some sort of "bug" or cyberattack and the team there also panicked and worked on it right away to block it so I assume again, things like these have to be dealt with right away. I agree that the rushed wedding ceremony was a tad anticlimactic but for me at least, the sweet wedding scenes at the start of episodes 1-4 and the overall beauty of the drama more than made up for it :)

I agree with everything in your editorial, truly relationship goals! In addition, one line that resonated with me was when the FL said “We are interdependent yet independent”. I love that the leads are both kind, grounded and really smart (not just book smart), they can do well on their own but together they are like a sweet power couple. As soon as they met in high school, they immediately connected, like kindred spirits. There was both tenderness & passion in the relationship. The leads’ characterizations were beautifully written & the acting was spot on. Both lead actors have natural talent, I think they will do very well in the future. The chemistry was palpable. They had so much effortless sweet gestures, it’s like third wheeling as someone here so aptly said :) Thanks for writing about this drama, hopefully through your editorial, more people will watch this wonderful gem of a drama.
