I’m happy to read your post but sad at the same time as it reminds me we’ll be saying goodbye to the drama & each other next week. I will miss all the characters, especially HyunJae & Mirae! Nice sharing with you all too!

I actually have been thinking the same thing. My guess is that HyunJae has elected to do the surgery (love HyunJae's character so much!) but then grandpa dies. Yes, grandpa is already 80 years old but the drama has made it a point all throughout how he has kept himself fit and healthy. Usually surgery is not done on the elderly because it's risky but if grandpa passes away, then there's no risk to consider.

But I'm still hoping nobody dies, certainly not HyunJae. This drama works because there are no bad, evil characters so I want to see everyone at the end.

Again we see from the BTS that Yoon Shi Yoon and Bae Da Bin get along well and so does the rest of the cast. Oh Min Suk apparently plays the drums as we saw in the drama but here we see that he plays the piano too.

Different strokes for different folks.

Some people find HaeJun annoying and YoonJae-HaeJun immature. Some people find Mirae annoying and HyunJae-Mirae awkward. Some people find Yuna annoying and Soojae-Yuna-Junghoo boring. That’s just how it is.

I am one of those who love HyunJae-Mirae. I like FLs who are spunky but I also like FLs who are gentle and kind like Mirae. She is always considerate of others.

I hope people cut Bae Da Bin (Mirae) some slack. Yes, her acting needs improvement but she has done a decent job IMHO. All actors have to start somewhere. Some actors have innate acting talent and some can cry a river but a lot of actors started with not-so-stellar acting but have honed their acting skills as they gained more experience. Good direction by the director also helps a lot.

Whoever one thinks is the best or worst character is entirely subjective. A character one dislikes is a character loved by another. Let’s just agree to disagree.

I also enjoyed HyunJae's moments with his in-laws. The easy, playful banter of the Hyuns and HyunJae while cooking breakfast was charming indeed.

True! I love Pei Qing Hua & Tan Yuan, but WL & XHZ’s scenes together were so cute :))

People process things differently, there is no right way or wrong way.

HyunJae is able to freely express his grief and boy, do I love him more for it!

Mirae does not have that luxury. As she said to HaeJun, she could not openly express her heartache and ask her mom what she wants to do as that would be putting undue pressure on her already confused, long-suffering mom. So Mirae needs to keep things bottled up even though she’s also in a lot of pain. And to me that is filial love. And isn’t being filial a good thing? I would certainly prefer my fiancée or future daughter-in-law to be filial rather than someone who disregards her parent(s).

I so love Dad MinHo. His love for HyunJae is just so moving. He would do anything for his son. Thank goodness for MinHo looking for a solution out of this sad mess.

Shout out to HaeJun, YoonJae, SooJae and Jungho for being so supportive to HyunJae and Mirae!

Mirae looked absolutely gorgeous in that absolutely gorgeous wedding dress!

For me Ep. 36 IS the tipping point in the drama, it's the major point of the show. The most-anticipated first meeting finally happened and it was bittersweet. It was an episode full of different emotions, HyunJae and Mirae made me smile, Grandpa Lee made me cry.

Ep 36 made things even more interesting. I am dreading the angst that is coming but at the same time looking forward to the development in the storylines of all the characters .

I loved last night's episode to bits! It was a good one for HyunJae and Mirae on all fronts. HyunJae’s family like MiRae a lot and HyunJae’s got MiRae’s family’s big stamp of approval. I always love their small walks and warm talks but their fun date had me grinning from ear-to-ear. It was a beautiful build-up to a very touching proposal. I’ve been waiting for the re-emergence of the scarf and I was so happy to see it! Also the re-emergence of Yoon Shi Yoon singing as BGM was just perfect!

“I want to be a married man” was such a sweet line. HyunJae’s always sure of what he wants and that line shows how committed he is to marriage with MiRae.

I have been looking forward to Grandpa Lee and Soo Jung’s reunion and I’m happy it’s coming but I know it would mean rough times for HyunJae and Mirae. Until then, I will enjoy their sweet scenes for now 😊

But I remain positive that HyunJae and MiRae will overcome all obstacles. Things were disappointing for YoonJae and HaeJun this past episode but I remain positive for them too that they will eventually have a child either by natural means or by adoption. So drama, please be good!

YoonJae and Haejun’s wedding gave off such good, happy vibes. HaeJun looked beautiful in both wedding dresses. I am glad HaeJun and Mommy Lee are now ok and Mommy Lee is back to being the cute mom.

I love the friendship of HaeJun and Mirae. In dramaland, it’s all about bromances so it’s refreshing to see a warm, close female friendship for a change.

It was a sad time for the Hyuns these past few episodes but I am happy that MiRae and her mom are close again.

I am in awe of how good and sweet HyunJae and MiRae’s relationship is. Truly relationship goals! HyunJae IS the benchmark for the most loving, ideal boyfriend!

@deidra Thanks for pointing out that it was HaeJun who suggested the casual dating,, I've forgotten. I've seen your other posts and your reasons for not liking HaeJun and I get where you are coming from. I'm still appalled when I think about how she lied to the drama PD about YoonJae, I get that she was lonely but how could one sabotage a person 's life like that? Then I gave her some slack because of YoonJae, and because of her friendship with HyunJae and Mirae. But lately I don't like how she 's been with YoonJae and HyunJae, it's like all that matters is what she thinks and what she feels. She always scolds YoonJae and even rudely hung up the phone on him so it's like it's ok for her to get upset, but when YoonJae's mom was upset, HaeJun called the mom sensitive. Being successful and owning an apartment does not give a person the license to be arrogant.

Yes, HaeJun has always been pushy but recently it's gotten to the point that it's not cute anymore. She even rudely hung up the phone on YoonJae after scolding him.

Mom KyungAe was tickled pink when HyunJae invited her out to lunch so I think it's fairly easy to invite the mom out for a talk, whether just the mom and HaeJun or with YoonJae. I did think it was very sweet of HyunJae to invite the mom out like that, he made her feel in a loving way that her opinion matters and what Mom wouldn't be pleased with that.

I don't dislike HaeJun altogether. At this point in the drama, I don’t appreciate her highhandedness but I know I might like her again. I certainly enjoy her friendship with MiRae.

I, on the other hand, love HyunJae and MiRae. The show just needs to show less Mirae’s mom-grandma scenes and more Mirae’s mom-Lee grandpa scenes. I know we are all looking forward to them knowing about each other.

It was off-putting that HaeJun insisted on joining HyunJae and his mom for lunch even if HyunJae said she couldn’t. Worse, HaeJun dominated the conversation during the lunch. She even ordered HyunJae to say what he wanted to say to his mom in front of her. HyunJae’s entitled to privacy for heaven’s sake. She only excused herself when HyunJae said that he really wanted to talk to his mom in private.

It does not mean just because you’re the boss or a CEO, you can be domineering and have your way all the time. I felt bad for YoonJae when HaeJun ordered him to go back right away even if he was in the middle of a wardrobe emergency, just because she could not handle the elders. Being a successful lawyer and CEO, one would think HaeJun would know how to handle social situations. Plus, they were not strangers, they’re family and she’s already met YoonJae’s parents and grandpa before, so I don’t understand why she couldn’t just patiently hold the fort on behalf of YoonJae.

As for the food issue, I have to agree again with the others. YoonJae told his mom that HaeJun is too busy to cook. But it’s not a valid excuse as HyunJae is as busy (even busier as it was mentioned in a previous episode that he handles more cases than HaeJun, plus all the other extra things he does for the law firm), but he manages to cook. It's totally fine if a person does not know how to cook or is not inclined to cook but I just feel that her being successful should not be used as the excuse that she can’t be bothered to cook.

I still like YoonJae-HaeJun but the writers just need to make HaeJun a little less pushy.

I still like YoonJae-HaeJun but I have to agree with the other comments about the food issue and that HaeJun was being domineering and pushy, especially in the latest episodes.

And what a really beautiful kiss it was! Way to go HyunJae and MiRae!
