OMG that fight scene was glorious! I was miffed it got interrupted, as well! And Bai Lu's acting on that scene where ML stopped her from killing the Right Chancellor was so good!!
Ok this was sooo good. I am disappointed that it got a 7 rating. I mean how? Everything from the cinematography, the costumes, the acting, the ost.. everything was gorgeous and I loved how deeply emotional it was. Their dancing didnt even annoy me because it was their refuge their emotional safe place.
I am on episode 20 and I really like it. It is deeper and more emotional than you initially give it credit for. I like how the characters are portrayed and the pacing. I am actually excited to see how it goes!

I just finished this and it had its moments, but it fell flat throughout. What a waste of good actors. They played so well, I mean I could feel their torment and pain, but the plot was very rational. I am not sure what theyr were trying to depict. But the OST is phenomenal, the scenery, the editing, I liked it. I just didnt loike where and the way this was going (nowhere). I suppose it was a breath of fresh air in the sense that every villain got the misrey he deserved in every case and it showed that redemption unfortunately is not possible for everyone. Other similar C-Dramas in this motif would have the FL forgive the ML no matter how vile he was and as if by a miracle there was some missunderstanding and they were both good people. In this one, it was like - "Get real Bish, there's no missunderstanding, I did alla those things, deal with it"
One question: I thught they said that once a Yin has formed a pact, he is no longer chased after other Rens, their blood doesnt smell as nice, isnt Lin Jian bonded with NongYu's brother. Why did the Rens went berserk once he came? Does that mean they have no pact?
