I liked that aspect too. Both brothers were moral and upright. And they loved each other. You dont see that a lot when the throne is involved.

I kinda liked the flashback scenes... They gave me a minute to cry by myself before watching what came next! hahah

I am kinda sad he didnt live to see the day he ruled. He was portrayed beautifully by the actor, but I admit I was kinda angry that it took him so much time...

That was really beautiful. They had a sad, twisted kind of love but it left a mark. I like the trnasformation in both of them.

This show just keeps getting better and better. I honestly didnt see the twist with the emperor waking u and that scene with ML was so intense and it was superb acting from both actors, it gave me chills. This drama has everything... I think it might be my favorite for 2025 if it doesnt disappoint me tll the end!!
I love all characters, even the villains are not flat or one-dimensional. Not saying I agree with their actions or that I justify them but you can actually see how they came to be, what shaped them into cruel, vindictive people.

So true and It was probably a few episodes back that something didnt sit right with me about him. Like he acted clueless but he was so calculating and devious. Hate how cold he was about his supposed friends life... He never considered the ML his friend it seems.

Thats actually kind of genius! I would soooo love for that to be true!! The Emperor does not seem heartless at all. It might be just his plan to keep everyone safe while uncovering the traitors

I think it was in the short drama Twin Fates. The FL makes a performance with these kind of fireworks in front of the emperor. Episode 10!

He probably makes excuses like they are orphans, they are not of noble birth sp their lives dont matter or something. Then again, at first I kinda actually believed he loved the FL and really wanted to marry her and not kill her. Has he been using her all along and never intended to marry her?

I dont know why, I have not read the novel or anything, but I ma starting to think that the man in the mask that betrays Susha is ML's best friend little Murong Marquis... It's like he is acting too unbothered all the time, like he has not single coherent thought in his mind but he could be very calculating... We will see.

I was just thinking the same thing. It's so amazing. I am loving the script so far and its attention to detail. The cinematography is superb, the soundtrack as well and both leads are appropriately dashing and imposing. I really like how it is going. I will wait till it ends but it is swiftly becoming my 2025 favorite.

She is really amazing in this part!!! I think she plays the strong female general so well. I must admit I also liked He Xuan Lin and Cristy Guo in similar roles. They both channel their inner kickasses!!!

You are probably right. Having watched up till ep 12, it seems that way, that she shot the arrow to give him and his army a chance although I dont get why yet. I am sure we will find out, but maybe not soon, since its gonna be 38 episodes...

I think they mean when he shot the arrow to kill her, and she fell off the cliff and she lost her memory. She didnt die, but he didnt know that. The truth is that he looked remorseful afterwards. No hate to his characters, I like that he is more complex.

I have seen him in other dramas as well, but in this he is extra charming!

I am not sure that would be way. Subterfuge and such underhanded tactics were pretty common.

I have no idea what to think either. What could be so against her code that it merited falling out with XJS -I am so curious and excited. And it must be something really big if Weiran tried t kill her as well.
