I understand your point but I want to argue that connections among players was also part of the game. Dongjae…
FR!! I can't believe they had to play the animal game and poker with so many weak players, those games were too high quality and it just got ruined.

Precisely why I said he was manipulative as hell. He is TOXIC period. The show would've been better if everyone played individually without the need for being toxic and manipulative. I don't praise toxic/manipulative behavior.

Title The Devil's Plan Spoiler

There were games that were really good quality but was ruined by Orbit's habit of forming "underdog" alliances (let's be real they weren't underdogs and were just straight up bullies targeting those who won pieces just because those players were actually smart and threatening for them). An example of this was the animal game. It would've been such a quality game if they weren't so hung up on forming alliances which ended up ruining the entire match. Notice how the poker game was so much better because it focused solely on individual skills and intelligence, not freeloading on alliances hoping someone saves them from their own mistakes or bad luck. The point of the show was to eliminate the weaker, less skilled players, while leaving the smarter players in the end. Dongjae got eliminated because the "underdog" team manipulated that doctor into betraying her own small alliance, it was not because he was not skilled or smart enough. In the end, they saved the less skilled players while eliminating a very skilled player that would've made the show more entertaining. Seokjin proved that it was not alliances that was needed to win the competition, it was skills and intelligence as an individual. Seokjin's alliance proved that everyone should pull their own weight to even call it an alliance.

They were questioned if the food is really Halal, and if someone gets sick who’s taking responsibility for it.…
the reason chef paik said that they were shut down due to popularity was because they did not serve haram food (which was what they were accused of), the meat he served came from a local butcher shop that was halal. he served food he knew would be allowed in their religion and culture. it was obvious why they were shut down, stop trying to defend xenophobia and unhealthy competition in their night markets. if you watched the entire episode you would know the food they served was halal and the fact they were accused of being dishonest is just downright racist. it's wrong to assume everyone of them are like that but it's also wrong to blame the show and saying they did not respect their religion and culture when they did. it's honestly shameful to see such behavior from the locals.

Title The Devil's Plan Spoiler
It's crazy how the talented ones like Dongjae and Guillaume got eliminated first while there were 3 or more players freeloading, with some even reaching the quarterfinals. I honestly just found Orbit annoying with his misplaced "savior complex" in a game show where there should only be one winner. It reached the point where I would just fast forward or skip his scenes because he was so unbearably manipulative and toxic saying he wanted to save everyone, yet that belief does not apply to the talented players. The alliance between Seokjin, Siwon, Dongjae, and Guillaume was what I would call a true alliance because they all did their part, no one was freeloading, and everyone respected and trusted each other. It was Seokjin and Siwon who got me through the last half of show. I loved seeing Orbit suffer and struggle every time he failed to eliminate either Seokjin or Siwon despite literally having majority of the players on his side. The prison secret was such an amazing twist and came in at such a perfect timing for Seokjin to secure his spot in the Finals. I cried so much when Seokjin won the 10 pieces and got to avenge Siwon's elimination, but laughed when he told the NPC he sucked at playing the game (Seokjin you were playing against an AI T^T).
Anyway, I hope the production team chooses better casts in Season 2 to avoid having freeloaders (don't need to specify as most of the people who watched already know who they are) and players like Orbit who ruin the competitiveness and fairness of the show. Dongjae and Guillaume should be given another chance, they both deserve it.

Title Pyramid Game
I just started this weekend and am on Ep 6, right now. I am shocked at how good it is. It's easily becoming one…
I literally just finished watching pyramid game and did the exact same thing as you. I finished watching Hierarchy last week thinking it was good but now that I finished this, Hierarchy wasn't even close to how good this series was.

Everyone's different I guess. Completely understandable. Some people find it annoying and some people just get used it. The habit is quite useful in medical dramas however, because some medical terms and medical tools do not have a Korean equivalent word. It's easier for them to pronounce too ,since English is not their first language.

same, i really would've preferred to see them both act like siblings/friends. their sweet moments just seem forced sometimes which was why i preferred the other two couples.

omg same. i'm a sucker for tom and jerry cps. hmh and ycy were the most realistic couple off screen while lyt and wyl were the most realistic couple on screen.

true! i can't believe someone would even call her immature when ycy probably went though a lot more hardships than the rest of the cast at such a young age. age doesn't define a person's maturity.

i actually enjoyed ycy hmh cp and lyt wyl cp more than ql and jasper. something about ycy and hmh made it seem like they really have good chemistry even off screen especially with their bickering and random sweet moments. lyt and wyl also had the best storyline in my opinion which is why i loved them both so much. ql and jasper were just not my type i guess? as a couple they seemed wayyy too cliche and sappy for me and their storyline for the drama was too complicated that i feel like it lacked the necessary developments because of the short amount of episodes. it would've been so much better if the show was a bit longer so their story could develop properly. it would've been a masterpiece had it been longer by at least 8 more episodes.

On Street Dance of China Season 4 Aug 2, 2021
I'm seeing comments asking why they made Henry and Han Geng as captains for this season. Both were trainees in SM entertainment just like Lay. Henry is a talented dancer or SM wouldn't have let him debut as part of Super Junior. Han Geng was a member of Super Junior and was also one of the captains in sdc1 and sdc2. The sdc crew wouldn't have chosen him to be captain this season again if he wasn't a skilled dancer. Please watch the first few episodes before casting doubt on them.
