Anyone mind explaining to me the relationship between all characters? I didn't read the novel and my chinese is bad (even if I can understand most parts) I am little bit confused. I know that Ning Que is from Yan empire/kingdom and wants revenge for his family on General Xia Hou who himself is actually from the Yan empire. Anything else that I'm supposed to know? Also, who the hell is Prince Long Qin and what is his objective? Anything like a character relationship map would be greatly appreciated!
I feel like everyone has too high of an expectation, not only because of the star studded cast but also because the writer is the same as You who came from the stars. Chill out man, just enjoy the ride and drop it if you don't like it.
I can't watch long dramas either. When the drama is past 24 episodes, I hesitate to watch it. The thing with long dramas for me is to "pace watch" it. I'm not the type to follow the episodes closely aka every week but I'm not the type to binge watch either (the biggest binge watch i have ever done was boys over flower in 3 days). So I always leave the drama to broadcast 6 to 8 episodes then binge watch them in two days and then follow the drama during the every other weeks for the rest of the eps. Another thing to add is that heavy plot is harder to watch when the drama is long (I find it too heavy after awhile so often gives up in the middle eg. six flying dragons) so I prefer family or comedy dramas (eg. What happens to my family and high kicks series)
hmm so is Zhao Zanilia the main lead or is it the other girl? I read that she is not the main main lead.
There's like a love triangle and Zhao Zanilia is one of the girl who likes Zhang XIao Fan but.... anyways the story is tragic so .... and i don't wanna spoil. and it is already written in the comments below

Wanted to binge watch this drama but once i started, I couldnt bring myself to stop bc it is so good.
Omg I've already watched the first episode (since i can understand mandarin) and I really like it! Aaron is bae in it! And the main lead girl i saw her in Marry me or not and i like her here too!
But I really can't stand only one episode per week, this is worst than kdrama.
