Dropped this right away. So no one's gonna ask how FL became a modern woman within 2-3 months after being transported from the 1820's where the most advanced machine was literally the loom. After 2 episodes in you see her wearing heels, browse the internet, use a smartphone, work in a corporate office and even commute to places. Like bro my grandparents and parents struggle to browse the internet and understand the concept of it and you say someone from the 1820's understood it?. And also ML just believed she is from joseon using information off a webpage?. And sa wol just started working as a maid right after getting released from the hospital without any difficulty whatsoever?. She isn't even surprised by any of the technology around her and its been less than 3 months for them. Conclusion: Just a drama to fan service people into watching corny scenes with no care to the plot and other characters. If you like watched rom scenes sure its for you. But it has no plot, story or character development. Just skip this and you will thank me for saving your time.
Been a long time K drama fan but here's my opinion. If you are looking to watch extremely good looking/idol-like actors doing fan service by engaging in romance from time to time. Then this for you. But yeah nothing wrong in liking that sort a thing.
If you look from a story/plot perspective its the same cliche past life/fate trope which is going on in 2 other dramas(a good day to be a dog and parks contract marriage). Also the leads spend most of the time focusing on the romance rather than progressing the story. It's like it was written mainly for the romance scenes and a story was built around it. Most lines are very corny and are something people will probably never say in their lives. 2nd ML and FL are the most useless and uninteresting characters, its like writers never cared about them. When you find people commenting on the visuals, they mean how good looking the actors are not the cinematography. Also love triangle feels so forced and unnecessary which is again a fan service.
If you are looking for a romcom focused on a good plot and story, skip this. Also 8.7 is way too high when "Tell me that you love me" has good character development and plot is rated lower than this.
8 episodes in and yoon si yoon's expressions are a bit exaggerated. This worked in psychopath's diary but doesn't work here since its not a comedy. Other than that kinda decent.
Bad ending, the parents justification is so stupid. Most of the students there has nothing to do with se eun except the mafia's and yeon seo (maybe jun hee to an extent). It's also surprising that she blames yeon seo for not saving se eun when it is her daughter which she is talking about. The daughter couldn't even approach the parents regarding her bullying issues even though their family is well-off(considering the high tech equiments they are using) which says a lot about the parents themselves. The ending we got is that "students who were nice to your daughter deserve to suffer for an eternity just because the parents are greiving even though they got nothing to do with the bullying itself."
They also give a justification that no one took the responsibility for her daughter's death like yeah no shit , a criminal won't step forward for his/her own doom. Also they know now who the actual perpetuators are after watching the simulation multiple times. Why are still the innocent students held captive then?. That parents losing child card shouldn't and won't work on everything.
Also the ending felt more of a justification for the writers to change rules every other episode rather than an actual constructive story. Anyways expect the ending , the plot was decent.
