I can't believe I'm saying this but I truly think that this drama is the best drama of 2016. The cast is absolutely incredible. I've always loved Lee Joon Gi and as expected his acting is emotional, detailed and flawless. IU's acting has also improved too and I'm glad that she was able to take on this role. Kang Ha Neul's acting was also spectacular! I have never loved and hated someone so much at the same time. I loved seeing how sweet he was to Hae Soo but I hated him so much because he already had a wife. I am so addicted to this drama and I'm listening to the OST every single day =D

Does anyone else get the feeling they are trying to get the jung and haesoo ship going. My only ???? is why now.…
@browncoat_78
Yes I totally agree!! I watched Bu Bu Jing Xin twice and 14th prince was my favorite both times =D There's something about his honesty and loyalty that is really precious. He is different from 8th prince, who already has 2 wives and 4th prince whose personality is very calculating.

If you watched the Chinese version you will understand. Honestly, it makes a lot of sense in the Chinese version because 14th prince comes to like her over the years. In the Korean drama it does seem random and a bit forced because there are only 20 episodes.

I refuse to watch any and all remakes of Bu Bu Jing Xin.
Yeah I agree. it seams like some people are confused but the concept of time travel has been along for a loooong time, way before Bu Bu Jing Xin. Some of my favorite novels are about time travel =)

I'm so glad I decided to watch this drama even though I really loved the original Chinese version. I've been in love with Korean dramas for the past 10 years and as I expected, this drama doesn't disappoint. I really like how they didn't follow the Chinese version exactly and they added a lot of their own style to it =)

For those of you who said Hae Soo was confused and never liked the 8th prince, I don't know about that. I think she really liked him and that's why it's so hard for her to move on. Of course, I love Wang So and I don't want to see him heartbroken so I hope Hae Soo falls in love with him soon!! At least the preview for episode 14 gives me some hope haha

This drama is getting sadder and sadder ;_;
Well that was the Chinese version. I'm also hoping that they won't kill too many of the characters in the Korean version because it's just too sad. I don't want to be crying all the time ='(

Yeah the original Chinese drama is really sad as well. I actually just rewatched it and I gave it a lower ranking from before. I ranked it 9.5 the first time I watched it and now I changed it to 9. I still think it's an amazing drama it's just that it was too depressing because the second time I watched it I knew when every character was going to die.

Okay guys I can't take it anymore. Hae Soo is so stupid. I get it that she's scared but she's making things worse by being so rash. I'm going to go rewatch Bu Bu Jing Xin and hopefully I will feel better =) I miss Ruo Xi so much!

Hae So is not my favorite woman right now.... "I can't share a husband with other women" she said to…
I know. Hae Soo sounded like such a hypocrite when she said that. Any form of cheating is bad in my opinion, whether physical or emotional. What's worse is that Hae Soo already experienced betrayal when she was in modern day Korea, how could she do that to someone else? Ughh...

Title Ode to Joy
Wow this drama was so amazing! Honestly I don't like long dramas so when I saw 42 episodes I was really hesitant. However, the friendships between the girls were portrayed so realistically and beautifully that I loved every episode! The only time I got annoyed was when they kept on focusing on Fan Sheng Mei and her family. It got annoying and I wanted to know more about the stories of the other girls. Overall, this was an awesome drama =D

Funny side thought I had: if Ruoxi saw Hae Soo crying like that in the forest, I feel like she'd smack her around…
Haha this comment makes me miss Bu Bu Jing Xin so much! Maybe I should just rewatch it in the meantime while I'm waiting for new episodes =P

I teared up in the last few episodes. Once again I'm impressed by Kim So Hyun's acting and I'm also glad to see Taecyeon's improvement. I don't know how this drama is going to end but please give our leads a happy ending. Please! I beg you!!

Couldn't get into Scarlet Heart due to the qing dynasty hair (call me shallow), so I'm really excited for this…
Seriously? Well you're missing out on a really good drama. I've watched so many Chinese historical dramas and Scarlet Heart is definitely one of my favorites because of the superb acting and great chemistry.

I loved this article =D I hope you can keep doing more articles like this! Reading this was so nostalgic for me and you picked a lot of my favorites so I was pleasantly surprised. Meteor Garden was my very first Taiwanese drama and I loved it! After that you mentioned Rain which is funny because Full House was my first Korean drama. Maybe that's why I loved this article so much haha. It's like I get to look back at my long journey of watching dramas and how much I've grown to love dramas over the years. Kimi Wa Petto isn't my favorite Japanese drama of all time but it definitely is a classic. I've watched the drama and I've read the manga twice. It was so nice seeing how this drama addressed a lot of tensions when it comes to dating: age, height, career and pressures from society.
