So the storyline went on a bigger scope, and the was no way (or even need) to keep it focused around Green Home ex-residents only. Btw, what do you think, is monsterization a global thing? And if you ever wondered what was the point with Im Myung Sook appearance in the first episode, the last one gives you the clearest answer ever.))
In the description of the drama, there is a section called Genres. There is the word "Fantasy". I think this explains…
Fantasy seems like a safe option for everything strange in the plot. But since split personalities made the whole story possible, I just want a bit more details :)
I'm still at ep 4 lol, so I have even less clues than you xD But since the drama has a fantasy tag, I wouldn't…
If we extend the tag theory, K also might be just an invisible man, imaginary friend, or even a ghost :) Or deep inside Soo Yeol is so unhappy with his life that his inner thoughts transformed into the hero. Anyway, I wait for more details in next episodes :)
I've started watching it mainly cause of Wi Ha Joon. He was quite awesome in "Midnight", so I wanted to check on him more. And now I'm enjoying the drama more than I expected lol Yeah, totally agree with you, they sure bring truth to light pretty fast. I mean, we're like halfway done, and all bad guys are revealed already. But I wonder how they gonna be punished in a legal or any other way. Let's hope for more plot twists to come. But I'm really uncertain about the whole split personality thing. From what I know about MPD (not an expert in psychiatry, though) different personalities don't interact with each other. It's possible for one to know more about another, but can they really operate at the same time? Why did K finally decide to come out from the shadows? And how come no one noticed his existence before? So many questions to be answered
Well, I was positive about completing the show, although the story ain't so appealing to me. But no matter how much I dislike dropping something in a middle, I just can't bypass 8 ep. Guess, I have more interesting things in my ptw list, so I'll take a break and come back after it stops airing
And the last episode proved this drama to be real fantasy) Sometimes it was fun, sometimes sad and even over-dramatic, maybe boring at times, but that's how life usually is. As they say, mountain is just a mountain. Thanks, Jirisan, the views were breathtaking.
After first two episodes I wasn't impressed much by the story, everything seemed to be SO slow and dull. But the closer final was, the crazier things got. A long process of setting up the right atmosphere is the key point here. Dramas like this one truly shows that no monster can ever get more scarier, than human does.
By the way, any chances the story was partly inspired by Subway Sarin Incident (Tokyo, 1995)?
Although Jirisan has turned to be not something I expected after reading the plot, I still enjoy watching it. Switchin' timelines might be not the best way of storytelling, but don't you think this show is non-linear itself? The ep 11 will be airing soon, and still we don't have any answers, while questions are more than enough. Who is the "master of puppets"? Commander? That's too easy. Or should we consider the ending of ep 10 as a hint? What's the motive? Revenge? Are all those incidents somehow connected to Black Bridge Valley case? But as for now only one death can be seen that way. And what about "plan" mentioned by Se Wook earlier? .... Can't figure out much now, so definitely not gonna drop it.
