i did not say he didn't have his reasons to not to be with her when she needed it ,it was an example that now he realized and he can be more careful since you said he will understand what is wrong and right, but that does not change the fact he was toxic sometimes, yes it is simple as not saying she was beautiful, because he is basically saying you are ugly why would he talk to you, and apart from your example which even if that bookseller was lying to her he can explain that without telling his wife that she is ugly, when she said that second male had a crush on her, he made fun of her for thinking that because obviously she is ugly right according to what he is saying? You can say he became better later on and still accept the fact that he was toxic at times

of course both parties will understand what was wrong and right, like we can see that he was never there when she needed it and thats okay if he now understands that it was important and he needed to be better, in that case that was totally okay but it was not the reason why i said he was a douchebag, he belittles her so much he kept telling her that she was not beautiful and it feels toxic to me i just can't like him when that is the case, i still feel like she deserves someone that treats her better

im on episode 6 and as far as i can tell he was a douchebag and still is, she deserve so much better
