At first I thought with Reba's striking beauty and her sharp facial features, it's hard to find a period drama to fit her asethtics, mainly bc she has some European facial features. However, as I watch this drama, being the Soverign really fits her. Her different costumes and hair style is compatible with her beauty. Reba acting has significantly improved, she really fit the arrogant, powerful, haugty character. Her facial expressions are plentiful, able to play a leader/lord, a character trapped in her duties and responsibilities and a child that's never experience the outside world.
I don't blame you, it's bc their acting isn't great. It's like children wearing adult clothes. However, if you…
I completely gave up, there's too many dramas out there and I'm not going to waste my time and force myself to watch something that completely doesn't interest me. It's already a complete flop in China, they had an online stream promo with the producer there and the producer was crying.
🍉 Period drama 《启燃》 🍉🍉xhs: "《启燃》 is being reworked. The female lead is #TanSongyun,…
Isnt this the same drama associated to Wang Anyu, about automobiles airing on CCTV with the same director from Knock Out and Xiao Yao. So they are changing the plot to fit TSY bc they want her that badly? Even if they change it, how much of a role will she get when this is obviously male centric. She can definitely take it as a guest cameo, but if it's fl then it's a downgrade fro her past work. I personally hope she doesn't take it bc the plot doesn't interest me one bit.
Having never watched Princess Agents (I know, shocking), it was very difficult to watch the first 5 episodes.…
I don't blame you, it's bc their acting isn't great. It's like children wearing adult clothes. However, if you watched S1, you would most likely have a bit of sentimental value with the characters, knowing what they've gone through. I am curious of how the ending will be since S1 ended with a cliff hanger. I'm just going to skim and gloss this drama until I get the gist of it.
She's the same actress that played the younger version of Chu Qiao in PA S1. I guess, by choosing her to continue…
You should tell this to the producers and director. ZLY declined, and there's always been a large fanbase hoping for S2, so they want to still take the opportunity and milk it. The next best thing, to create noise and hype, is to pick someone that was affiliated to the character. Honestly, I can't blame them for picking her, it's a smart move. However, this girl is young, inexperienced, her acting skills haven't been sharpened yet, and her eyes are dull. I can't feel any fierceness or emotions, all she's doing is glaring her eyes in order to look fierce. I feel like I'm watching a kids show. This just goes to show, the acting industry in China is declining, they focus more on hype and money than the actual drama.
Honestly, no one in this drama fits the characters. The girl that plays the princess disappoints me as well. LQ played Chun Er so freaken well. LQ's face has this bright, clean, pureness that she can portray this innocence and naivety of the princess that's been pampered and loved all her life. Because of how the princess grew up, she doesn't know true human nature and the evilness it can be until she first handedly experienced it herself, which turned her in to a victim with a hint of craziness. She needed this craziness to survive and push herself to continue living and getting revenge. I get nothing from this new actress and I have seen her in Fated Hearts. Hah, the coincidence that LQ was fl in that drama, and now she's playing the same character LQ played.
The actor, Jin Han, that played Zhao Xi Feng in S1 was excellent for the role. His face itself, no offence to the actor, looks like an asshole that I want to slap so he was a great pick to play the antagonist. However, a lot of the actors and actresses in this drama are newbs, they all look the same and I can't differentiate who is who. Idc what anyone says differently.
The only character I am intersted is Empress Bian played by Li Meng. She plays the psychotic type role very well, she can also play an antagonist that viewers can pity on (e.g., Blossom). I'm looking forward to her and when she plays another role in Against the Current
Enlighten me please 🥹 I have put Princess Agents on hold for a long time (even considered dropping). Will it…
I heard there's flashbacks of scenes that have happened in S1, and that it continues where S1 left off/ended. So perhaps it is best to watch S1 first. I mean the whole point of existence for S2 is because S1 did so well, and fans had begged/hopped for S2 (with the same cast)
Witnessing firsthand how fanbase stage a coup on MDL. Eyeopening. Didn't know it was this well organised
You're a piece of work aren't you? How old are you? 13? I see preteens more mature than you. I see you on shu page and now on Seven's page. Did mommy and daddy not give you enough love, and you are just hating the whole world and finding worth and attention by spreading hate. Who will be your next victim? Go to therapy.
I never post comments here because I am not a fan. But before any of you post any objections to my presence let…
I'm sorry but this is really starting to be pathetic. You going on the actress' page to criticize the actress and her fans. Don't you have better things to do? It's the holidays, spend time with family and friends instead. Why are you trolling here, what point are you trying to prove writing a 10 pg rant essay that no one will read. For gods sake get a life, if you don't like Seven then don't watch her projects, why bother watching her stuff and then post that it's not good when you already know before watching you won't like it. You are really just asking for her fans to come at you, some of her fans are nice and trying to justify seven's drama or acting w/e, but if you don't like then don't watch.
Edit: your posts make me cringe, like I can't even read it.
My personal opinion: Let's not get into any fight with other fandom when the drama premieres. If someone comments…
I agree. I feel like different fandoms should cease fire. I'm also referring to Seven and Xk's fans when the drama starts to air. W.e differences or opinions should be placed in the back of their mind and focus on promoting the drama. To prevent any conflict from arising in the future, everyone should just focus on the positive and promote and cheer for their own idol. If they like they are very welcome to cheer on each other too! Bashing own idol's costars is a foolish way to promote anything and it brings a bad image on their own idol.
Seven just did her Beijing Chinese new year broadcast and she smoothly promoted ABAY. The drama is really airing…
I truly believe ABAY will be coming to us very very soon!! i see that Mangotv/hunan is making a lot of efforts to hype up Abay with xk and seven...especially with seven. I see that her drama, utp, is reairing AGAIN recently right now on hunan, then she and xk are attending hunan's spring festival and hello saturday. Even though I understand others' worries of airing close to xk/esther's drama, and close to CNY (I understand there may be some impact), however I believe in seven and xk's abilities and onscreen chemistry.
Edit: also, Mango tv is airing seven's movie Li Kele Jan 24th
I saw that and as much as I want to see this drama ASAP, I don't understand tencent urgency to air this so soon.…
I've observed in the past, where artists had dual dramas aired at the same time, and one is always inferior than the other, meaning lack of focus and cp fans. There's no cp wars, but one drama's cp is more popular and focused than the other. The ratings and viewership for the lesser watched drama is also compromised. I've read many comments that viewers found it hard to be immersed in the drama and the cp. Which, I understand, and I feel like I'm the same way. So I never like dual dramas to air for my fave artists. It's not a win-win situation. Thankfully, Seven's dramas tend to not air siultaneously or back to back, but a few months a part, which allows viewers and fans to digest and get over the previous cp, and start fresh. I just hope ABAY will be airing, at the very least, after CP 6 finishes airing. I agree, ideally it's best to air in March or even later, no matter how desperately I want to watch this drama.
I rewatch the trailer and noticed that Han Ting likes to gently caress Ji Xing's head with his hands or brush…
I like that. I actually do see a few scenes where he carresses her hair, like her bangs. I also saw in the bts of the wedding scene that he did that too but I wasn't sure if he was just fixing her hair as xk to seven as a courtesy or the actual drama role.
People in these comments had the guts to say Tan Song Yun is not beautiful. She is beautiful as a fairy. She is…
My second drama from her was Go Ahead, and I fell in love with her sunshine smile. It lights up the whole room with that smile of hers. I actually appreciate her to be not the typical beauty like so many other actresses (some of the actresses are a beauty, but their acting skills can defintely improve, unfortuntaely they don't find the necessity or need to improve since their beauty gets them poularity and noise anyways). Seven has quite a clean background, no rumors and very hardworking. Very low profile, I can tell she only cares about acting, once she finishes her drama/movie projects she vanishes haha, then comes back to the scene when she has another project. It's rare for her to be in any variety shows, which is a shame.
I feel like many intl fans don't know the difference between traffic route/drama and the non traffic route/drama. Therefore, Seven is not well known to intl fans. However, I noticed she is becoming a household name to the aunties and uncles haha, since her dramas are usually aired on satellite tv (which by the way is an accomplishment since airing on satellite tv is superior than web dramas in china). I also noticed some notible actors and directors are collaborating with her which means her acting is being recognized in the industry so props to that.
I find that many people diss her lack of beauty, bc for one, they are probably used to beautys on the screen, but also I think they can't find any fault in her personality and acting skills so they go for the most superifical way. Seven is aware of her strong points and weaknesses, she can easily comply to antis and criticisims and do plastic surgery, however she didn't and stood her ground.
I'm sure if she joined a company she would've been mega popular by now, however I think she didn't want to be controlled or go the traffic route so she stuck with her integreity to be an independent actress and I think it finally paid off.
