i just find it amusing that CXs obsession with power is so he can protect XY but it’s been counterproductive because he continually puts her in compromising situations. maybe i just also don’t think he’s atoned enough for torturing her and breaking her legs in the beginning. anyways didn’t mean to offend the CX fangirls lol

cang xuan is probably the most realistic male lead but wow he pales in comparison when it comes to the other two. the other two literally save xiao yao's life over and over, whereas cang xuan always needs her to save him 😂 . is CX really end game??? i have no idea but hope not

holy crap the acting in this series is so good. minus deng wei, although he has improved a lot.
