At the start, I kept thinking he’d improve, especially since his character is supposed to be more empathetic and emotionally driven, yet he barely conveys anything when confronted with death. He was supposed to be the emotional anchor, making us feel the weight of what happens while 1ML being stoic and giving off an idc attitude. Maybe sharing the screen with Xia Zhi Guang makes the gap even more noticeable because that man is PHENOMENAL. He conveys indifference, irritation, and even the sick, low-energy aspect of his character so effortlessly, I’m at the Sako door, and watching him tease that girl alongside Li Dong Yuan is genuinely so funny 😭 The chemistry between the leads is great, though, and the stories are so unique and well done (minus that plot hole), so I’ll definitely keep watching. There’s still half the show left, so hopefully 2ML improves, but I can’t help thinking Joseph Zeng in this role would’ve made it a 10000/10.
2ML is literally eating my feed like WHATTT 🫠 I haven’t even started watching, so I have zero clue what’s going on, but the amount of edits and comments I’ve seen?? I genuinely NEVER thought I’d live to see the day someone could mog SKJ. LIKE EVER. And yet here we are 😭 With all the mixed reactions, I feel like I should wait until it finishes, but I genuinely cannot take it anymore. I NEED ANSWERS.
Such a bittersweet finale! 😭 It breaks my heart to think about how carefree and happy they were in the first…
yea like when I just had watched first 2 episode I even commented here I was like I don't know if I connect to this and didn't understood the initial hype , It seemed to me like another story with one rich guy having family problems and no talent and the one poor guy that is a genius but I waited for a bit then watched again and omg it just flipped every thought of mine
I feel like not a lot of people are talking about Pi O mother (Yoon Se AH ) acting, I just want to give shoutout to her especially when she was lying in her bed and then start screaming at her father for it being all his fault I got goosebumps from that scene
Song Kang surprised quite a few people with his performance in the drama, which was highly anticipated. Personally,…
agree on every bit of that sentence - one of that person will be me, I could never enjoy his romance like when my demon came out everyone was talking about it and I loved that fl but I couldn't bring myself to enjoy them together and here SK just keep surprising me . there are few more (like Seo In Guk, Hwang In Youp, Mun Ka Young, etc) I would to watch in anything emotional/ complicated character than romance - LJY is easily top 3 k-actors rn and if he doesn't sweeps all the awards and praise for what he is doing I would very much believe the rumors about industry being biased towards him - Gyuri was completely masked by all the actors and actress as much as I love her she had almost same expression for most of the show, like the level of acting difference between her and everyone else was so clear
I fell like when LJY used to get angry in weak hero it used to give me chills and I would get scared but here when he got angry I didn't felt scary .. like he such a good actor , I hope he stays away from controversies and give us amazing drams and enjoys his success along the way
does anyone feel empty like the show ended how I wanted and as much as I would like to see more of them I am still very comfortable with 12 episodes but there is idk some kind of emptiness I can't explain
I didnt like that Pi O chose to falsely confess that too in the concert itself. I wish they hadnt shown the truth…
yea I felt same but I think the main concept of this show is flawed characters, so whatever Pio did actually fitted that narrative so well, everyone takes decisions/ acts in a way that they think is right (much like how we do in our daily life when we think we are doing the right thing when it actually isn't)
if everything became clear why I see more drama in next episode preview .. 😭 like I was expecting only light moments in last ep , I am not having good feelings for the end
I am late to realise that I can't catch the last 2 episodes while it's airing cos i have gigs on both nights.…
don't cry right now because I am sure their will be a lot of red eyes from watching those last two episodes 😭 .. I only watched upto 8 so far and I couldn't continue because its so heartbreaking
emotionally this is at the same level as "we are all trying here" ... tho I will say Pio is more miserable then DongMan (ml from that show) .. because at least DongMan believed in himself whereas Pio constantly belittle himself , this is so heartbreaking
If the production house just made a similar series people would criticize them for ripping off High&Low. So…
I said I have concerns, and I'm keeping them. HiGH&LOW works because of its Japanese. "Wait for the trailer" isn't a rule. I can judge the announcement as it stands. And remakes have burned us before, like the Thai Addicted adaptation that did so horrible, among others. If they pull it off I will give them credit. If it confirms what I'm worried about, I'll double down on it. You can disagree, but you don't get to police when people are allowed to have opinions. Watching or not is my call.
I wanna give this a chance but I can't, the OG Japanese 8 movie franchise will always have a special place in…
omg right .. like highnlow is so much more than fighting between gangs ... I wish we will leave the originals and make another show with all these handsome cast
omg can we please not make this show .. like HighnLow is my Roman Empire. how can Thai even remake something that is so originally Japanese, like I am sure they can remake some stuff but
- Japanese communication : they way they talk and make faces and express themselves is so unique to Japan which is why HighnLow is so popular - fighting : I am sorry but Thai is no the best when it comes to directing fighting scenes .. how do they expect to make a show that is ABOUT FIGHTING - fashion: Japanese characters have such a Japanese street fashion embedded in them, that's another reason why its so popular like you can see those same styles on street in Tokyo.... all these Thai actors are handsome and talented men I adore them, but this is no not acceptable
