ONE OF THE BEST BL SERIES

It is the first time that I watched a BL Series, wherein I waited for its next episodes. Usually, I will wait for a series to be completed before watching it. AND IT WAS TOTALLY WORTH IT!

Fourever You Part 1 is a BL Series from Thailand, adapted from novels. It highlights the story of Hill & Easter, which were portrayed by Cooheart & Pond Ponlawit, and Johan and North, which were portrayed by Maxky & Bas.

Hill & Easter: Easter transferred to a different school, for the hope that he will not meet anyone from his previous school because of the scandal between him and Hill. When Easter and Hill are a couple, during a celebration in Hill's house, they make out. Unfortunately, Hill's grandfather saw them kissing, which led to a scandalous scenario. Easter's father also knew about the news which led for them to fight everyday, until Easter transferred to his dorm (with North). Since he is a scholar, he needs to join the student union. There, he met Hill once again, since Hill is the president.

Johan & North: North, because of being broken of his ex girlfriend, went to a bar and drunk. There, he saw his ex girlfriend's boyfriend flirting with another woman. North berserked. North's squad and that guy's squad went head to head on each other. After the fight, North's friend called Easter for him to pick North up. Easter called Hill to pick-up North, but Hill called Johan to pick-up North. When North wake-up, Easter is there scolding him. Fast forward, he saw that his phone was broken and the list of debts he have. From there, the relationship of a lender (Johan) and debtor (North) began.

Fourever You should highlight four main couple, including Arthit & Daotok, portrayed by Ngern & Oat, and Typhoon and Fah, which were portrayed by Bever & Tonliew. But the Fourever You Part 1 only focused mostly on HillTer & JohanNorth.

Yes, there will be a part 2, which is already an open secret before even the series ended. The part 2 will focus mainly on the other 2 main couples and Tiger and Nao, portrayed by Pie Saran & Golf.

Story & Script:
The story is just light, compared to the novel. Yes, they did not put all the scenes in the novel on this series. Hill and Easter's story is really a good starting foundation for the series, however considering that they need to highlight Johan and North's story also, it was not done properly.

As far as I know, the writers had miscommunication. The original script approved by the author looked different with the final one that they used. At that time, they already filmed a lot of HillTer scenes and the screentime became a disaster. I hope that in Part 2, they will fix this, considering that they will cover 3 novels that time.

Acting & Cast:
I believe that the casting on this series is perfectly fit for each of their characters. But let's be honest, Maxky and Bas carried this whole series, which is also the reason why viewers and fans wants more of their screentime and wants more special episodes of them.

Hill & Easter (Portrayed by Cooheart & Pond):
Cooheart never disappoints with the way he use his eyes to express his emotions. As a Cooheart bias, I know that he will deliver his emotions well in his scenes. It is my first time watching Pond and he is a really great actor. Their chemistry is really good and they really fit and looked like to characters from the novel. Hill & Easter's story could've been shorter, considering that there are really scenes wherein it became draggy or "the authors should've not included it." Over-all, the HillTer team did a great job introducing the whole Fourever You universe to us, the viewers.

Johan & North (Portrayed by Maxky & Bas):
Maxky & Bas are really great actor. The way they fit each other's being, the way they act and their personalities in real life, it was truly a chef's kiss for this couple. Maxky and Bas is the perfect choice for Johan and North's character. This romantic comedy genre is really for them because they can deliver their emotions really well, with their actions, intonations, and their eyes. Yes, I agree, that they are really the star of Fourever You Part 1.

Tonfah & Typhoon (Portrayed by Bever & Tonliew):
FahPhoon's story in the novel is really angst to the highest level. Yes, the sad emotions they gave in the part 1 should not be compared to what's happening in the novel. The amount of sadness we felt in part 1 will be doubled and tripled, I believe, in part 2. And that's on Bever and Tonliew. A huge congratulations for the both of them because of how much they expressed the emotions of 2 lovers distancing themselves from each other.

Arthit & Daotok (Portrayed by Ngern & Oat):
Both actors did well in their respective roles. Yes, they do not have much of a screentime together in part 1, but they still did very well on their separate scenes. Ngern really embodied the act of being a cool and hunk guy, while Oat embodied the act lf being really mysterious.

Tiger & Nao (Portrayed by Pie and Golf):
THEY ARE THE SIDE CHARACTERS THAT REALLY CAPTURED MY HEART. Their story is really great and got my heart curious for more. Fortunately, the part 2 will also cover more of their story. The way that Tiger has a silent crush on Nao, and Nao doesn't even know gohekfjend. It makes my heart giggle. Yes, there are a lot of couples already, but I believe that their acting and scenes are important because they added an extra flavor to the series.

In totality, for the many years that I've been watching Boys Love series, I can definitely say that Fourever You is one of the best BL Series ever produced. I hope that we get to see more of the characters and the script is already right in the Part 2 of this series. It is definitely a must watch. If you're done watching it, then you must rewatch it again!
