The quality of this series declined due to the obvious tightening of censorship.
Apparently some people do not care about the plot or the chemistry between the leads, let them be and let's just wait for ep11 😔

The quality of this series declined due to the obvious tightening of censorship.
All the streaming platforms and the author herself have confirmed that there will not be any sort of censorship, what are you on about? No one is naive, you just didn't follow the updates from official sources. More than half the amount of episodes are yet to be released and you're complaining about drop of the quality?? You haven't even watch it how do you know. and yes drop the show if it's not your thing. You kept saying "Chinese show this, Chinese show that" seems like you probably don't like c-shows in general. Which is fine but if you're here only for the nc scenes and think the quality will drop if they censor it then it's a you problem. not the show's.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS. I'm very tired of seeing people slandering both the show and the character (Chi Cheng)…
Exactly! Even if we keep the "disturbing actions" aside, it definitely deserves more than 1. I've seen people giving a 10 to shows with the most basic plot to ever exist that also have almost 0 chemistry between the leads just because the vibe felt "cute". Which is okay everyone is free to enjoy whatever they like. But spreading hate, spamming low ratings, leaving negative comments and making tiktoks about how no one is "calling out" or "talking about" how bad Chi Cheng is are not it. They somehow think it's "constructive criticism"

It’s so irritating to see people judging the show based on the r**e scene. So I will explain for the first and…
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS. I'm very tired of seeing people slandering both the show and the character (Chi Cheng) also the ones who are enjoying this show. The genre dead dove has been here since the very beginning of fictions. People have a free will to skip if they're uncomfortable. Chi Cheng was never meant to be a "green flag" nor to magically turn into one just because he developed feelings for wei. And loving Chi Cheng -Wei's relationship doesn't mean the viewers are justifying Chi Cheng's actions. People really need to learn how to separate fiction and real life.

i didn‘t really watch this series but only some scene‘s on twitter. I watched some from FumaKai too since…
Same thoughts 😭 I'm glad I started watching both shows without checking out this comment section, because on twt and TikTok people were already comparing, fighting and hating and I didn't wanna be the the judge based on some comments. Both shows are unique in their own ways I think, comparing made things worse. Fuma-Kai's visuals getting unnecessary hatred, I also feel like they could've done better with Fuma's style but nothing was hateable tbh. And yes, I agree w the dropping the show, if this show is that "bad" simply do not watch it. It's okay to have a preference and to like one thing more than the other but the hatred this jp version is getting seems forced in some points. Because I've seen even worse in some jbls. I'd never understand people wasting so much time and energy on things they "claim" to hate.

If you don't try to match it with the og one scene by scene, it won't be too disappointing for you and will be less hard to enjoy. Some scenes were shortened, and were out of order, a lot of characters are different too but there are some things I love in this version, one is that it shows Arashi-Rei and Fuma-Kai's stories in parallel and feels more connected where in the og it was completely separated and the growth of Phayu-Rain and Prapai-Sky's relationships happened in different timelines, felt like I was watching two different shows.
Both shows felt unique to me, despite being the same plot. The JP version only feels "rushed" if you compare it with the original because that has longer and more episodes, and the stories are detailed. But considering other JBLs, the pace doesn't really seem like a big deal to me because you do get a hold of the storyline and you can understand whatever is going on. Try watching it without comparing ig, would be easier 💁🏼‍♀️
