Great chemistry, angst and action scenes
It starts off with some really nice action scenes and visuals..and talk no less..it only keeps getting better.They make a perfect pair! Hope for a future collaboration from them. Song Yi is so pretty and she carried out the role of the general fabulously...someone who is bound in responsibilities, has to be cautious, yet loves their partner so deeply and has an understanding with them. Ryan Cheng also carried out the portrayal of the three characters very well as well as bringing them all into one. The story is written beautifully.
Also, the leads have sung the two osts!!! That just brings so much more life to the characters. I think I am forever gonna remember them as Li Shuang and JIn'an/Aodeng.
It allows the leads to show their acting range ...and yes singing as well. Applause for them, must've really put a lot into the drama.
Honestly, I could see Jin'an in Aodeng and how he was also falling for her even when he had forgotten Jin'an.. the scene on the roof, him making the medicine sweet by putting honey and many others. Just makes one think that if two people are meant for eachother, then no matter if they hold positions in rival states or the circumstances, they will find eachother and fall for eachother.
Another favorite scene -
When Li Shung goes to Wuling mountain to save him...after he collapses into her lap.
Felt a loss when it ended. Gonna rewatch it multiple times.

The actors nailed their roles.......Absolutely loved both the characters! They are graceful and kind. They never blame fate. They embrace and overcome their challenges and destiny. Whilst all this, they get drawn to eachother's character.
The music was also nice. Rewatched it multiple times!
