If you know history after the 9/11 attack on the US, the US blamed Iraq with no evidence and continued to attack Iraq, using this tragedy as an excuse. After 9/11, there was an increase in Islamophobia and hate crimes, where people were calling all muslims terrorists. Anh Sung Jae joined the army at the start of the Iraq War. It's understandable why this person is feeling the way that they are, and you telling them that how they should feel is not right since you weren't affected at all. During his time in the military, he helped fuel combat vehicles, which contributed to the war. I'm not arguing, I'm just saying that their feeling are justified since it's their people that were affected.
