Thanks for subtitling and translating the chart !My only quibble : the "Unrequited Love" stands out a…
Thanks for the kind critique, it really helps me a lot! It was the first time I translated a larger chart, so it’s not really the best. I will try to translation better in the future.
I think the chart as a whole is a bit confusing because it refers to things from the beginning of the drama, but things change later and it also mentions events that will happen later. It's confusing too because of the arrows. If the arrow points at a person, then it’s the feeling someone else has for them. But there are also arrows that point at both people, like for siblings, so the whole thing is a bit confusing to read imo.
"白月光暗恋成真" is a bit hard to translate into a small piece because it’s a line from a novel "红玫瑰与白玫瑰" by 张爱玲 and it’s very poetic and more emotional in Chinese. I made a mistake there and it would have been better to translate it as something like “Secret first-love" or "crush for her" the arrow only points at her, which means it shows his feeling for her.
Her arrow at him says "童年克星先婚后爱." "童年" means childhood. "克星" literally means something like nemesis. I think that’s because in childhood she thought he was rude/bullying her, like giving her dead flies or whatever that was, and the scene where he kicked the other child because he thought that child was bullying Fei Ni but she mistook it as him bullying her. "先婚后爱" just means "marriage first, love later."
"Old age confidant" was hard to translate and I may not have chosen the best way to do it, i'm sorry about that. In Chinese it was "老来知己," which means that they did not meet or become close in their youth but got close to eachother when they were older. So basically they became friends at an old age and met at an older age. I'm a bit confused about that too, but I think they will meet soon and just then become good friends.
I hope it’s easy to understand what I meant. English is not my first language, so I may have made mistakes and explain stuff not that good. But once again, thanks for the nice critique, I will try to explain things better in the future.
I hope now that Xiaoman and ChunChun end up together, it would be very weird if they make him go back to xiaodan in the last 3 episodes, since they bulid chunchun and xiaoman's relationship up in the last few episodes and we actually rarely even saw xiaodan in the last few episodes imo
A Cdrama with the storyline of Zhang Xiaomen and Ye Chunchun would be so great! Even better when if would had the same Actors, Johnny and Xu Rouhan as Main Leads!
You speak out of my soul! (I hope that makes sence in english, sorry) It's just getting annoying, i actually really…
Yeah like who cares about Ling Yi and Ye Feng lve story? Or the brother's love story? I only liked the story line with the brother where ML helped to build the stuff, that was cute but now the brother just takes too much storylines up and his wife too!
I think she did it to try to secure a job at the newspaper when she graduates and Fei Ni's article was way better.…
I fear it's gonna least till the end. I just wish the story line finally ends with her! It's only 10 Episodes left and too much time is spend on her and her bullshit. I rather see more of Fang Mujing and Qu Hua and how they get closer!
ep 19 is making me angry, Ling Yi is never going to change, feel bad for FL. at least they succeeded at exposing…
The main lead are very much too kind! I do wonder too, when his parents come back and what happen then! I hope they are not annoying and hate FL or some bullshit reason and make there life hard for no reason
Those criticizing FL without valid reasons do you want the FL to offer her blood for him to drink 🤣 so she…
Even if she saves his life, they still would hate her for no reason! They are just misogynistic, it happens always in comment sections, a women is never enouch for these idiots and can do nothing right imo!
I’m actually losing my mind — this show is stressing me out to the point of rage. Tomorrow’s episode is…
You speak out of my soul! (I hope that makes sence in english, sorry) It's just getting annoying, i actually really like the drama but ugh, its getting too much with these side characters! The only side characters i kinda enjoy are Feng Mujing and Qu Hua
Right! I kind of thought there would be a second phase of the drama showing that, but I guess not
I don't think we will see it but i hope in the 10 episodes that are left, she finally can get into collage or at least a writer job, she deserves it so much!
I wish Fang Muyang finally exposed Feng Lin, like how many times did she now try'd to sabotage Fei Ni? It's just…
Yeah and it's only 10 episodes left! I think it's finally the time to stop with her plot line! It's just getting too much imo, i dont want her to be there for the rest, they should have stopped it few episodes ago already!
