Serizawa confessed directly, on the bridge maybe three or four eps back. It's absurd how they've dragged this out.
Yeah, boy was ready to come clean right there and then if not for Suzuki cutting him off. I still think they could have given us a better resolution/workaround (read the novel and kinda expected it, just a lil salty abt it)
I love this series with all my heart, but it ticks me off a little. Serizawa liked him first, made several advances underhandedly, but for some reasons the burden of confessing was put on Suzuki's shoulders (a person with low confidence and is super dense). Suzuki is so much stronger than me, I could never
It's literally a copy-paste of School Trip if you think about it. Four popular boys invites an unpopular shy kid.…
It's a typical yaoi plot that you'd see a lot in mangas/novels. Yes it does get boring and predictable, but we're all here for it haha. I think the "After Moving Seats..." one is the one more similar to "School Trip..."'s premise, liking the MC for being kind and defending them behind their back. Serizawa liked Suzuki because he was moved by him pouring his heart out in whatever he's reading, and he found Suzuki cute right off the bat. I think that's what made me like this one better.
Was impatient and started watching it thinking "only 3 episodes left im sure the story's somehow wrapping up now". All I can say now is OH MY LORD I NEED THE REMAINING EPS NOW 😭
Maybe I missed it but I wish the drama delved more on how they went from an unlabeled relationship to a couple. We know how Kuji feels but even in the end he refuses to label it.
When Azuma said it's always better to talk things out as it feels lighter, but even in the end we were not shown communication that settles things. I think I'm just hung up on Azuma's earlier notion that they "could never truly merge" and how it was left unacknowledged and unresolved, or maybe that's precisely the point of the entire drama?
Nonetheless, it was a good watch. Happy to see them happy together.
Still happy they're finally together 🥹
