Great acting, subpar story
Not a fan of the plot at all which is the main reason for the low rating. The pseudo-incest bit never sat particularly well with me, even after the reveal that they weren’t blood cousins, so it was hard to look past that majority of the show. Felt very much like traditional/old-school BL shows with the tropes and half-baked plot, but the acting and chemistry was great and I loved seeing Jisung! Wouldn’t mind watching another show with this pairing (and hopefully a better plot). Was this review helpful to you?

Two people trying to heal themselves but how?
I think the message and theme of the show was fantastic. This show does a great job at demonstrating how deep trauma goes, no matter how much you may try to distance yourself from it and how suffocating it can be to still feel controlled by those past experiences. Both characters have their own trauma, and because they were each in some ways related to each others’, it deeply affects their dynamics and how they attempt to navigate their complicated relationship in the present. The pacing and direction of the storytelling could’ve been better. There were instances where I was confused on what was happening, but overall it made more sense as the episodes progressed. Acting was great.
