Yeah agreed, we all know Chairman and La El are gonna end up together. But that Assemblyman guy is a breath of fresh air. He knows who she is, and so with him she doesn't have to a person who is seeking revenge, but just her. La El. So they cherish each other. I found it odd that the Assemblyman "loves" her Outta nowhere, but I think it's because she's the only thing from his past. Like he said earlier, he had only La El's family to rely on earlier in his life. She's the only living member now and maybe he's projecting his affection as love.
Nevertheless, the way he expresses his feelings make me SWOON. They have so much sincerity, and the actor has done a terrific job!

The show has it's fair share of errors, but I absolutely enjoyed watching the show! loved this!

Rant time : I'm really mad at the mom for hiding everything from her. Even if she wanted to "shield" her from the bad memories, that's just not done. She lives in US, and HYS absolutely deserves to know everything considering how she lives alone/with her sister. They could have been harmed by now. But the mom never opens her mouth, seriously? She could have atleast informed after the museum incident. I'm fuming rn. Just finished ep 11.
