literally 15mins into the first episode and i can't be the only one bothered by his gallbladder being on the incorrect side please tell me somone else is with me on this i had to get it off my chest

i was thinking the same thing! i only watch the high-end-style 12-16ep dramas and was wondering why sometimes watching this felt like a normal drama i would watch and other times it felt kinda... telenovela soap opera-like with how it looked on the screen (? if that makes sense?) LOL

please tell me i'm not the only one who kinda hated the way the main couple got together??? i actually really enjoyed this drama and found them to have great chemistry, but everything about how lu shi yi behaved to xia xiao ju after he came back rubbed me the wrong way. he leaves for years and comes back making her believe he has a serious girlfriend, not to mention proposing at someone else's wedding when you haven't even really spoken to each other in years, let alone been in a non-fake relationship with??? i know real-world logic don't apply to drama-world but even this seemed too far for me lol

not really.. it mainly just explores physical and emotional aspects of relationships. whether the relationships would be considered healthy is another discussion, but no strong themes that could be considered "dark"

no rape scene the most non-consensual thing that I remember happening is at one point when they're kissing, one feels a bit uncomfortable when his butt is grabbed and he pushes his partner away, he says "please don't do that again" his partner apologizes and promises to not do it again and they hug, and it never happens again
