this just feels wrong it’s a good drama it’s just the fact they were siblings and still called eachover brother…
Genuine question but do you know what oppa means? If not you’re gonna have a lot more issues with 90% of dramas lol

Today’s episodes pissed me off so much. I think I freaking hate JZ now. I hate how he acted, I hate how he freaking…
I get what you mean but did yall really think she had the time to care for a puppy? Not only at her age at the time which was likely 19/20 but also between her schooling and her mothers health issues that dog probably wouldn’t have been able to be cared for properly. Her life didn’t have time or space for a dog when she moved to Canada.

It's better to advice them Read the Novel where the drama was adapted. The drama was adapted from a web novel…
I've read it but i've learned with dramas that some people just aren't going to bother reading the novels. Can't help people who don't want to be helped in understanding it ig especially when they have already made their decision based on the drama. Some people don't really have media literacy and need things explained to them lol.

omg they only lived together until female lead was 9 and the mother never accepted himas her son or FL brother.…
Correction: SHE grew up thinking they were brother and sister. He was aware before she was born that he was not related to her whatsoever and they talk about this later. He always knew.

ppl thinking they are related is going to be my nemesis so heres an explanation on this since the synopsis isnt clear.

1. They are not blood related at all. The mother never accepted the ML as her son. It was Jiang Mu’s father that wanted to take him in and care for him cause he was close with his parents. He was never officially adopted on paper, he was brought into the family to be cared for against her mothers wishes. They lived together for a few years and developed a small bond before the divorce.

2. The ML has been aware even before the FL’s birth that they are not related. He doesn’t even refer to her parents as his own parents. However the FL was duped into thinking they were related her whole life. She finds out immediately upon the first episode that is not the case. Due to habit and what she's known her whole life, she does still call him brother at first. He does call her sister but he's under the assumption shes leaving soon so he says it to get his buddies off his and her backs.

3. The FL last saw ML when she was a child and they were still kids, she has not seen him in over 10 years due to forced separation from her mother and the divorce. She took her mothers name in the divorce. Her mother was under the impression Zhao and Mu would never meet again in present day and is still vehemently against her being around him. They weren’t able to keep in touch at all. The FL doesn’t even recognize him at first and he lives somewhere else but he does visit and help out and has a close sibling-like relationship with Xin Jin.

4. they both have numerous conversations about this situation in the first 6 episodes. By episode 4/5 they are both acutely aware they are not related and the FL even says to the ML’s face that he's not her brother.

Her father took him in and cared for him, they arent officially adopted siblings lol. just a man taking care of a family friends son. The FL just grew up thinking he was related to her but he never was.

Can anyone tell me why her and her parents are so formal with eachother? Calling her mrs shen instead of their daughter and her calling them mr and mrs instead of mom and dad? Is it a language barrier thing? Or is it something cultural? Just curious.

sang yan carrying yifan into his room to ravage her is so poetic after everything thats happened between them. when she was drunk he hesitated and thought about bringing her into his room but decided against it. this time no hesitation straight to business 😏

i think she took 6 months to heal on her own and become stronger as an individual so she can finally feel strong…
She spent 5 years trying to escape her family and only felt safe cause he went to jail. He got out of jail and she didn't feel safe anymore. it all came back when he got released from jail and started harassing her again.

The storytelling is clear.....just read the novel..... great the message ...: become brave and dont run awayThe…
But this is a cdrama adapted from a novel its not going to follow the novel word for word and ur naive if u thought they were. like any adaption things will change that will do better for the storytelling for the drama. ur just mad right now and dont wanna see any other perspectives except ur own.

Maybe if they did it for 1 or 2 weeks it would be more or less (less!) understandable. But 6 months? Are you joking?…
i think she took 6 months to heal on her own and become stronger as an individual so she can finally feel strong enough to fight her uncle. we should be happy its only 6 months and not another 6 years.
