Ai's dad constantly threatening to cut her off when she's the only heir he's got is fcking stupid. is he going to have another kid if she fails? he doesn't care about his legacy at all because Ai is his legacy. he's just a sad, pathetic man who's angry at everything. dude needs therapy not duty free.
skip the first 5 episodes and just watch the 12 minute pilot -- you probably wouldn't miss a thing. and judging from the preview, it's going to be one more cliche storyline after another. CH3 should just buy novel rights if this is the kind of story they can come up with on their own.
since ep 1 i always thought how lucky someone must've been to be loved by someone like Maewnam -- caring, selfless, strong, patient.. qualities that are a little bit harder to find in a partner nowadays. but after ep 8, i start to wonder how much pressure someone must feel being loved by someone like that. to know that someone is always going to save you when you fail, even at their own expense. how humiliating it must be to accept help and then realize they fcked themselves over for you. get lied to over and over again but you have no choice but to blame it all on love and good intentions because they did it for your welfare and just wanted you to be happy.
i feel bad for Maewnam but I get where Wan is coming from (that last scene with the whistle was brutal). still, love yourself first before any woman/man!!
While there are big changes to the plot compared to the novel and some might feel jarring to those who read it,…
yeah that's also why i'd prefer them not to date this early in the series -- cause the romance will probably make it one dimensional and the story focused on them being a couple. i really liked the ambiguity of their relationship (the will they won't they trope is one of my faves!). it adds a lot to the plot and shows the range of acting LMSY can handle.
one question if you read the book.. did they become a couple this early in the book as well?
sooo the dads are basically the same.. different styles but both abusive -.-
i didn't read the novel but based from the comments looks like change is doing a lot of unnecessary sht again (ehem affair). i honestly would've preferred it if they didn't officially date until close to the end. it felt so out of place with all the angst and all. i get the vibe they're trying to pull but i guess the romantic in me just wanted their declaration of love to be a bit more real rather than just their (or atleast May's) reaction to a couple stolen kisses. anywaaays, love love LOVE LMSY -- thought their chemistry hit its peak with affair but damn was i wrong!
anyone here keep a box of memento from ex girlfriends / ex flings/ ex crushes? i've seen it in a lot of GLs now i swear it could already pass as a lesbian stereotype. that and waiting for a woman for yearsssss. do we really stay infatuated that long?
Rin saying the most hurtful things then coming home looking for Khem like nothing happened is the weirdest sht anyone has ever pulled in a GL.. i know communication is the worst part of every series but come on! this is just suuuuper weird to me. June still hot af tho.
how does that happen exactly? GMMTV make a statement or hold a press conference about an "official" pairing or something? i honestly don't know how this official thing works. i just see a pair with chemistry and i hope for them to have another series together. simple.
how refreshing is it to see a couple who didn't have a toxic/dramatic breakup then get back together and marry at the second half of the last episode.
they're simply in love -- yes, for 11 whole episodes now. sure, some may say it's boring but isn't it great to see a visual representation of a simple and healthy relationship every now and then? not every love story has to be an epic tortured love affair.
haha! i was just wondering cause i don't think i'll ever be attracted to a spoiled princess like that. but oh well.. she looks like the grandma so i guess she's hot XD
the picture thing took me out🤣🤣🤣like how can u talk to a picture like how? make it make sense anyways…
ryttt! and she's even wondering why the photo doesn't respond to her. like whut? i'd be burning that photo if it does so much as blink let alone speak. this series is just absurd. from the premise to the story to the script to the characters. can't believe i waited a year or so for this -.-
i don't know if i missed this but what does Prey do? i mean besides talk to a photo all day long? not sure how old she is in the series but she doesn't work, she's not running a business, not in school.. is she just waiting for a man's proposal to marry like how they did ages ago or something?
how was Rak and Kawi's relationship in the novel before shit hit the fan though? cause i know in the novel Kawi did ask Rak to do the postcards for him so i was wondering if they were as good siblings in the novel as they were in the series before Pam happened?
at this point, they should just demote Karan to a support role and put the hetero couple, mom, dad and the brother as main role. this is absurd!! i've never seen a novel butchered the way they're doing RWM. now i need a drink at 7 in the morning because of this shit. AAAAAA!!
only thing good about this episode was Karan in that outfit.. and that car?!? guuuuuurl she know she hot!
although it's another shitty dad situation which is meh but oh well. we still have acting, comedy, chemistry, and Pock.
also, they start university in Thailand at 18 right? i heard legal drinking age there is 20 sooo do they just not check IDs in bars/clubs? XD
14 episodes of fckng PPL -.-
PPL.at.the.end.of.the.episode. and they made the those scenes worth watching i didn't skip even those canon photos. aaand now i want to do my laundry.
i feel bad for Maewnam but I get where Wan is coming from (that last scene with the whistle was brutal). still, love yourself first before any woman/man!!

btw Nene is smiling.. I REPEAT NENE IS SMILING!! a genuine, happy smile finally! now, a solo series for ViewMim please.
