gurl that's what i'm saying. both Ai and May are purely good in the series -- Ai being this lovable sister and grandchild she's willing to give up her future for her family and May being this strong perfect lawyer who only defended a shitty man because she was blackmailed by her father. like there always has to be some kind of noble/pure reason for everything they did or became in the series (very different from the novel).

i like to see flawed characters, toxic ones even because it's more relatable and realistic (and it adds to the drama ofc XD). it's just that Pluto has this feel of always trying to justify everyone's actions so we sort of feel sorry for them. oh well.

why is GMMTV so set on making us feel bad about Ai? the more they show scenes of her being this "martyr" for her family is making me hate her character little by little. does she really need a gazillion sympathy points so we'd root for her instead of Oom when she wakes up? plus the dance scene was soooo bad OMG i can't!!

only thing that saved this episode for me was May saying Ai's name for the first time 🤭 i knew it would come eventually but it made me swoon so fcking hard i forgot that atrocious CGI dance scene!

the fact that May did not indulge Ai when she was putting herself down and basically self-destructing after that lunch was so tastefully done. i mean if i already did everything i could to make my girlfriend feel loved and seen and chosen but she still considers herself inferior then that's on her -- not gonna baby her cause she probably needs to work on it herself.

say what you want about May being a red flag but you can't deny that fact that she's good -- and healthy even -- for someone as weak as Ai.

Kris already had the set of eyes when Karn's mom was still alive right? so she gave her eyes to her while she's still alive? am i tripping here or what?

anyways, shame on kongthup for giving this series just 6 episodes, for lack of promotion, and for all those cringe AF nc scenes and stupid dialogues. i hope another company got this novel instead cause this was 😓 though Orm and Folk did well, nothing much they can do really with this production.

the last part of that preview took me back to Sam and Grandma showdown all over again 😂😂 but i swear i'mma throw some hands if they use that palace again in Cranium!

no GL couple is perfect but Freen and Becky will always be THAT GL couple in my eyes. without them, Gap, and IdolFactory, we may not have had this amazing year of quality Thai GL content. sure, someone may have done it instead but i'm glad it's them. cheers to TLP last episode!

I was under the impression that May only had those thoughts after she went blind -- like she became more of a human when something bad happened to her because she represented a shitty man. I really felt like her perspective as a lawyer and as a person only changed after she went blind. I'm not so sure now though! XD

I'm with you on May's motive on the case. I'd rather she be the cold egoistic lawyer that she was in the novel. I think GMMTV is trying to paint both May and Ai as these kindhearted souls who somehow got the short end of the stick with their families. Like in the novel Ai immediately said yes to Oom when she asked her to break up with May because she was curious but in the series she refused because she thought it was cruel. We don't need these overly perfect characters tbh. It won't be a problem if they're flawed because who isn't but I guess that's GMMTV for you.

May was trying to figure out if Ai would stay with her. She wasn't just "blind" in the novel -- she was also awful in a lot of her early interactions with Ai (as Oom) and at the end of the novel when she confessed to Ai that she wasn't really blind, she also said she deliberately showed her all of her worst sides first to see if she'll stay -- because Oom didn't.

i was actually thinking about the same thing! and even without them advocating for PWDs that much, faking any kind of disability for any reason is fcked up. but did you see how May looked at her father in ep3? that alone makes me think they'll follow that twist (but downplay it as much as they can, perhaps) -- still hoping they won't.

i was rooting for Ai to say something to May's dad to shut him up but it makes sense that she didn't want to butt in. sometimes we just need a shoulder to lean on at times like that.

and Film's look during that confrontation was 🔥🔥

i just finished reading the novel Pluto and i didn't realize how much i missed Pleng until i read her name and her song for Wan in that novel. i hope they're are still living their happy and slightly toxic married life in Chao Planoy's yuriverse until this day 🙏🙏

i'm halfway through the novel and ohmygod i can understand your comment now. it's like GMMTV just copied their names and occupation and just ran with another storyline altogether (totally NOT a bad thing though)

also, i can't imagine Film playing the novel version of May tbh XD

really?? do you think it's a good thing or a bad thing though so far in the series? it's just that i think the plot, characters, and mystery in the series is so on point right now that i don't have anything negative to say but considering that it's an adaptation, do you think it would've been better if they stuck closely to the book or not so much?

Just 1 episode in and it's shaping up to be my GL of the year!! Plot is compelling but not off putting like other Chao Planoy novels. Aaaand if the look on Oon's eyes when May was walking down the stairs isn't love at first sight then I don't know what is. Girl is down baaaad!!

I'd be happy with literally anything for the last episode as long as they have a happy ending but that last kiss at the beach is 🤌🤌 LMSY -- best GL couple of the year imo. Next series please!

Riight?! GLs getting 8 episodes is just sad. Such a waste of a good novel too cause they can't really put a lot in there. Though R4Y is a gem - still unfortunate that we didn't even get atleast 10.

i screamed "why aren't they married yet??!!!" after they showed 10 years later.. so Four putting a ring on Wa's finger at the last scene broke my heart into a million pieces 😭😭😭 this episode is sooo fcking painful i can't even 😭😭😭
