I guess it's because there's too many teams to start with? production might have cut scenes of the 2 people team due to time constraints and maybe being less entertaining (not sure how that's possible with bao bei er in it but you get the drit)

it's alright! there's definitely perks to being fluent though - especially if you're watching reality shows like these and there's some jokes that'll only make sense in their native language, so you could consider learning it if you want to!
