The most must-watch BL drama this summer
Everyone, go watch Payback. Watch the whole thing and you will finally understand what people mean by "shockingly delicious."
Shocking, because every beat is built with care — nothing here is thrown in carelessly; it is all thought through. Delicious, because the kissing and the steamier scenes are genuinely sweet enough to eat, hahaha.
I have only read the webtoon once, so I will not pretend I remember every detail and cannot promise a scene-by-scene comparison. But the series clearly diverges from the source in places, and every change is well justified — personally, I think the adaptation made it better.
Strongly recommended. You have to watch this one.
