there's a rape scene and it starts around the 35 minute mark of ep 22 and into the first 10 minutes of ep 23 by netflix episodes (34 eps total). if you're watching the original cut (21 eps total) it happens around ep 14, and then it's sort of rehashed in ep 18 - i plan on skipping it myself so i won't be able to answer any questions lol but i would've appreciated the heads up so i'm putting it here

WOW, I loved this, it felt SO refreshing honestly. Reminded me a bit of Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo in how wholesome it was. None (or at least very, very few) of the annoying tropes, but all of the good ones.
It's just so funny to me that people are like damn Jisoo's always the second male lead when will he get the girl and everyone's like oh in My First First Love he's the lead, which is true, but he STILL doesn't get the girl LOL

YES OH MY GOD I'VE REWATCHED IT MULTIPLE TIMES AT THIS POINT IT'S SO CUTE SSFLDKJGslkgdjhjkldkgj also I love how their relationship has progressed, like it wasn't rushed and it seems genuine. I'm curious though if at any point Cha Min will be like does this girl really like me or is it just because I'm pretty now bc it'd be interesting to see how they work through that
I'm screaming after their relationship breakthrough in episode 8, would lightweight recommend watching and pushing through just to get there. Honestly, up until the last few episodes, I was really only watching for Ahn Hyo Seop's face and love for Park Bo Young. At this point those are all still valid AND bonus relationship progression but also I've seen enough that I'd really like to see the antagonists face their punishment. Really, really, really, so I'm holding out for that.
Also, I've read that a lot of the reviews say that the plot is messy but I'd say that's mostly the first two episodes. I think the way they tried to set up the fantasy aspect of this was poorly done, but if you can ignore the premise and just accept alright, there's this marble thing called the abyss, and it brings people back to life, then you'll be fine. Otherwise, the murder mystery plot is easy to follow imo and engaging enough that I'm curious to see what happens next.
At this point I am just SO EXCITED TO SEE THEIR RELATIONSHIP PROGRESS FURTHER so I'm definitely going to keep watching. Also wrt the chemistry b/t the main leads, I feel like it's worth saying that up until episode 8, there's not /supposed/ to be anything romantic between them, and it makes sense that there's not too much build up romance wise. I DO think that they have really good chemistry as friends, I think the friendship is portrayed very well and the ease they have around/with each other does seem like they've been friends for 20 years. (Okay maybe not 20, but at least a decent number of years.) Also, I think they did add enough hints here and there to build up to a romance, e.g. Go Se Yeon's jealousy that Cha Min was pretty mia after getting engaged, and Cha Min's go-to person was GSY e.g. before deciding to attempt to jump off the building, etc.
