I rewatched epi 10-11, just to confirm that ML never discussed with his brother about FL's father poisoned FL. It seems ML's brother is smart enough to connect the dots. Or perhaps, everybody knows about it, except FL.
Everyone knows about the birth control thing. And when ML stopped it, everyone knows it too - including his brother.
FL didn't try to find out who tried to poison her, how her poison was cured. All info needs to spoon fed to FL. Mmm ... it's hard to understand when she was a sect leader that made plans to expose kids slavery and saving them, etc.

Preview epi 21 : ML's blood seems to be able to nuetralize whatever influencing FL. She flipped to the blunt side of the ice before stabbing ML with it. Good news, FL & ML are working together.

It seems the plot not telling the truth to your other half, is not a favorable plot - perhaps it was OK 10-15 years ago, but not anymore, even for an Emperor in a historical drama. 😊

Epi 16 & 17 : FL didn't believe any word coming out from ML. But, when a third party blurted out 1 secret about ML's proof of love, she believed it straight away.
So, we need the third party to tell her more secrets. Depends on the writer - to make the perceptor a saviour for these 2 romance starved lovers, or an obsessed one-sided love evil.

A few wrote about the actor always choosing similar role, and wish he would take a different role. Perhaps he will - I heard he's changing agency soon (or is it already changed).
Some praise FL for her acting, actions moves, crying, etc.
Most of us here are just ranting out what we feel about the characters. Or, do you think we should just write good stuffs only? The section here is called "Comments" - to my understanding, it can be good , or bad.
In a drama, it depends a lot on screen writer. I think, when she was writing this, she knew that viewers are going to fight over the characters. Perhaps, to attract traffic - I heard this drama is no 2 in China. Good, right?
Weibo might be toxic. MDL, not so much. I notice some haters, but most resolves around the characters and plots.
If he postpones it to after 27th, not a bad idea too. A 10 day new year break seems good too.
