Maybe he meant it a way such that she worked hard at the role, it's not like something you could pull off with just exceptional acting talent. It does seem mean though 😅

The scene at the grandpa's birthday when MC interrupts the grandpa and the camera pans around to the rest of the family looking worried, I don't know if it was the director's intention but its subtle because it was set up when his dad told him not to interrupt him at the earlier breakfast scene. The atmosphere around the family is crazy and it really feels like MC is able to open up/express himself while fighting.
