As WS gets closer to admitting his feelings for QM, I’m so stressed that “mining” tunnel is going to come back to haunt us.

honestly they teed up the Zhao Ming/Pearl arc as a flashback but it lasted 5 episodes filled with a lot of stuff we mostly already kinda sorta knew lol

I can’t wait for Mudan to find out Mr. Third is the emperor 🤣

nan xu yue is meddlesome and insufferable in every life. he’s such manipulative asshole but I know he’s going to do some grand self sacrifice at the end which is supposed to redeem him. booooooo.

enjoyable in the sense that he’s just the right amount of “bad guy” for the story. I look forward to seeing how he’s going to get what’s coming to him. every time he’s outsmarted or beat is sooooo satisfying.

Bai and zhao on the other hand are absolutely vile and I’m 100% with you about them disappearing immediately, but it would be more relief than satisfaction
