The only problem is that the ML was talking to him on the phone when the culprit walked past the ML at the beginning…
But who else could it be,
Because when Cha was killed, Seon woo was dropping off grandpa in the lift and then went to him workplace, the shaman would not have enough time to kill both and then get to the workplace faster than Seon Woo. If they use Cha's aide, I feel like that would just be disappointing because he isn't a very important character.
My theory of Deok-Hui (Ok-Hui’s brother) being the serial killer:
So as we all know he is the only person Ye Bun has not touched, only Gwang Sik had touched him. And Jang Yeol said to Gwang Sik “Touch him quickly, he can’t be the murderer.” Detective Jang had no reason to say this, in Murder Mysteries it’s normally the person you would least suspect.
Deok-hui refused Ye Buns touch when she was touching all the detectives without any real reason why he refused it - no explanation given by the writes. We don’t know enough about him as a character for them to give us a funny reason. But I think the writers dropped clues here and there which all will eventually add up.
Gwang-sik was investigating the blackouts and the person, he found out who it was. The only person he touched that Ye-Bun didn’t is Deok-Hee. So I think he remembered his vision from earlier and went to investigate which is where Deok-Hee killed him.
The vision we see of Deok-Hee’s past is of Mount Mujin on the day of the meteor shower. Mount Mujin is very close to the barn so Deok-Hee could have been the person at the barn.
In E14, Deok-hee is really good at avoiding Jang-yeol in that comedic moment where Jang has to try getting him in the dark - is he used to it already.
When the influencer gets murdered she recognises the serial killer and says “oh”. The only people she knew from the town that are alive now are the shaman and the detectives. People forget that she met Deok-Hee when she was in hospital and was vlogging the officers. She goes really close to him and stays there for a long time vlogging him.
Deok-Hee has been involved in the investigation from the start and even has insider knowledge because of him being an officer.
A lot of people think it is the Shaman, and i understand that theory aswell. However if we go off the physique of the person in the barn and the legs I don’t think it resembles him. But maybe it is him
